A very loyal reader went to see Kathy Griffin perform last week and they sent me this email, detailing what Ms. Griffin said. HILARIOUS!!!!

Wow so much to tell! Ok, so I went to the Kathy Griffin show last night—and she is my new hero!!! Girl, she spent about a half hour talking about the feud between her and Ryan Seacrest, her encounter with and how messed up Paula Abdul really is, Simon Cowell’s comment to her about Paula, her meeting Sanjaya and many other celebs I’m not fond of! Hahaha, it was hilarious.
Ok, I’m guessing you want the juicy stuff!
The feud b/w her and Ryan was from an awards show they were both hosting and Ryan pulled open her shirt in front of the camera’s. So she goes on to say how she really hates him now and takes every opportunity to rag on him. When referring to Ryan she always said “she” implying he is gay and needs to just come out the closet. She went on to say how of course Ryan is all giggles over hosting the Super Bowl halftime show this year cuz he loves being around all those men in tight pants…lol.
She also ragged on Clay Aiken but I won’t go there…lol.
Paula Abdul – She told the tale of her encounter with Paula. She starts by confirming that YES Paula is on drugs and she said let’s just say she starts with a foundation of oxycotin and build up…lol…Her impersonation of Paula was so on point! She sounded just like her. She said that Paula has confirmed that she is “loopy” when she said on Hey Paula “I just hate it when people don’t treat me like the gift that I am”….lmao…she was like “who says that?” Only drugs can make someone say something like that.
Simon – She met Simon at an event and asked to take a pic with him. He said yes and told her to kneel at his feet in front of him and she was like ummm no cuz then it will look like I’m giving you something and he was like I wish you would. LOL, oh Simon! So then she says she asks him about Paula and how she acts on the show and he says to her “she is simply mad.”
Sanjaya- she said she went to the show with the top 10 and she was out in the hall waiting for the “Idol kids” to come out and when they did she said she was looking for Sanjaya so she can see what all the fuss was about. So the kids walk by and she didn’t see him. So she’s like is he not here or is he so high and mighty to walk out with the rest. Then she was told he was walking next to Jordin. She said, and this was mean, that Sanjaya was so skinny that he got caught in the folds of Jordin Sparks MUMU…she said it was the day she had on that horrible orange mumu looking thing…
Then she tells of how when she was flying out either that night or the next morning that Sanjaya was on the same fight and maybe 2-3 rows in front of her and he had this huge body guard and the folks on the plane were going gagah over him. So the pilot is tripping over him too and he’s like well he (Sanjaya) really can’t sing and she is like ummm, he’s right there, he can hear you and then the pilot was like can you take a pic of me with him…lol
Anyway, this is probably one of those things where you had to be there to hear the delivery to appreciate the comedy of it all…lol I’m not sure if you have seen any of her comedy but she is hilarious!
Oh my gosh!!! I wish I could catch this show but I’m all the way up in Canada! Oh well. If anyone else attends a Kathy Griffin show, you need to let me know!

Kathy is hilarious! I’ve seen her on stage when she came to Alabama last year. She talks about American Idol at least once in all of her acts. She’s a huge fan of the show even if she does like to make fun of it.

Kathy Griffin is a trip!! I must say though that her impersonation of Clay was a riot!!! Yes, it was a little mean but hilarious!! And she does love to watch American Idol. She said she was very excited to be there.
TallFreak- you went to her show too ‘eh….she is so funny! And she really can not stand Ryan…I mean she went on-and-on about him and even said at one point “I can’t stand that bitch” LMAO!!! I think her Paris Hilton skit was hilarious too, when did you see her?
Jeanne, if she come to your area, YOU MUST go see her! Definitely worth it!

What is wrong with people when they can enjoy this ridiculous type of humor if you want to call it that. She’s like some old bag gossiping. And, don’t get me wrong, I always liked Don Rickles, but he knew how to make it funny. I think thats what she’s going for and believe me she’s falling a little short, to say the least.
