Kathy/KKat is an “Idol Stalker’s Bo Bice Day” Fan!

KathyKKatBo1

Kathy/KKat sent me this great picture of her and Bo Bice! It’s great! She also wants everyone to know about Bo Bice‘s MySpace page!

Best of all, KKat has seen Bo perform 14 times and has had the honor of meeting him many times.

Here’s what KKat had to say about Bo:

Bo is warm, friendly, sweet, humble, down-to-earth, kind, generous, and hilarious. He is even more gorgeous in person than in pictures or videos!

Bo has been on quite a roller coaster ride for the past two years. Lots of extreme ups and very serious downs. America did not know that Bo was sick during finals of Idol.

Keep reading KKat’s story after the jump!

The hospital misdiagnosed it as food poisoning, but actually, Bo was suffering from a rare life-threatening condition which felled him later during the Idol tour (2 weeks after he had broken his foot onstage and kept performing!). He had emergency intestinal surgery to save his life, but it did not fix the problem. He recorded the RCA album called “The Real Thing” just after the surgery, then went on the promotional tour, suffering from complications and constantly seeking medical help, but never complaining publicly because he was so grateful for the amazing opportunities and he wanted to honor the faith people had in him. By his upbeat attitude and hilarious sense of humor, you’d never guess the rough time he was going through.

Bo always puts on a dazzling live performance. Last year Bo was hospitalized 15 times while on tour, checking out each time to honor his performance commitments. Audiences had no idea that Bo was critically ill because he gave such thrilling performances every time. Bo always gives 150%–even under adverse conditions–because loves his fans and he can’t stand to let anybody down. He didn’t want us to know he was sick. He wanted us to have a great time!

But in October 2006, his tour was prematurely ended by another emergency surgery, and a very serious setback the next day. But Bo is always thinking of others, so after he got out of ICU and into a regular hospital room, he made a funny video for us fans at bobice.com so we wouldn’t be so worried about him. Bless his heart!

During the many months of recovery from that surgery, he was not lying around feeling sorry for himself. He was writing 31 songs, at least two of which will be on his new album. The other songs on that album were also written by Bo over the years. Bo had parted ways with RCA during that recovery period, so he was finally free to record his own kind of music. This is the album Bo always wanted to make! It was recorded from his heart and soul in his own RockHound Studio. In rising above all that adversity with such courage and grace, Bo has achieved a super-human feat … a triumph of human spirit.

Bo is a man of much love, gratitude, appreciation, humility, and spirituality. He has brought us joy, thrills, and inspiration. His kindness and generosity is legendary.

We fans are often the lucky recipients of that generosity when Bo takes time out of his busy schedule to chat with us and share his life with us on his website bobice.com. He gives live free webcasts from his home studio, shares stories and pictures in his blogs, and makes special homemade videos especially for us. On top of all that, Bo has a hilarious sense of humor that keeps us in stitches. All in all, Bo is a multifaceted gem, with a brilliant light shining from within. I see the light!

K-Kat, you gave an excellent synopsis of the past two years of Bo’s life and all the hardships he’s had to endure and how he’s come through them with grace and humor. It’s no wonder his fans adore him and wish him so much success with his new album “SEE THE LIGHT”

Everyone should go over to BoBice.com and hear some song clips!
