After spending some time with Tom Cruise on the set of “Wichita”. Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise boarded a plane outside of Boston yesterday (September 22).
No word on where they are headed! Maybe they are going back home to Los Angeles for a little while. It’s been along time, about 2 1/2 months since Katie and Suri have been home. The girls have been living in Melbourne, Australia while Katie filmed her movie “Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark”.
The night before (September 21), the whole family went out to dinner together. The photos are “exclusive” so I am not allowed to post them, but you can see the pictures here. Tom, Katie, Suri, Connor, Isabella and Tom’s mom and sister were all present at the dinner.

She must be heading for Los Angeles. Tomorrow Thurs, Sept 24th is the launch
of her clothing line at Maxfields in Beverly Hills. Suri is probably also gonna be
there since they will have a child’s clothing line.
Katie must be tired. She is wearing the same blouse she wore last
night to dinner.
Katie has gained weight, she looks good though. Back home finally!!!
It’s the same shirt she wore while visiting the “Wichita” set. Suri is wearing the same leotard……… They must have left immediately after that set visit.
So good to see the lovely mom and baby.
On Suri Cruise Italia there are more pics of Katie on the set , her hair is loose and it has grown heaps,she looks really nice, and just saw a video from you tube of Katie getting her finger and toe nails done. Has anyone seen that before?
Just My Opinion said the other day, that Katies clothes are coming out on the 23rd , does anyone know if she is going to be be talking to the media or some show like E going to interview her. Just asking because I don’t know how it works and you guys probably have more info on these things.
I’ts the 24th, is it, can’t see Suri being there though .

I think there is a car seat, you can see they’re trying to get nestled in and find the belt connection. Katie looks great, clean smooth skin and casual clothing. It’s been a nice seeing her dress casual for awhile now. I got tired of her looking all glammed up before, so to speak.
I read that Elle is honoring Katie in its 16th Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute on October 19. Have you read or heard anything Julie?

I read a couple of description one said to honor hollywood’s most esteemed women , another said outstanding women in film. This is the 16th one so you can look up 14 or 15.

The description I read, said it was honouring icons and icons to be. Maybe Katie is the icon to be. You know as much as I adore Katie, after reading all the people who were being honoured, they had awards and all sorts of things, it surprised me that she was on the list. I know its a mean thing to say but I can’t figure out why she would be there, maybe they are honouring as well, people who show potential to be something. Has anyone got any ideas?
I feel bad saying that , but it sort of crossed my mind.
Last year it was Isla Fisher and Anne Hathaway with the likes of Jane Fonda, Sigourney Weaver, Nicole Kidman and Halle Berry.

I understand what your are saying. I am a huge katie fan, and have been for a v.long time and really believe that she is very talended and has something that others do not have, something that attracts you to her (Something like what Diane Keaton says, that she has something that pulls you to her).
Nevertheless, I still believe that her best is yet to come, she has done a couple of good performances but she still needs to prove herself as an acting reference, as an icon. She’s not there yet. I am still VERY VERY Happy about her being featured in this mag with that great company. Go Katie!!!!!!!!!
Annie: where is the video of her getting her nails done? PS. I agree that she has gained some weight and I think she looks MUCH better with those added pounds…much healthier. Thats why I like Cameron Diaz’s body….its sexy and its solid, not waifish which Katie can look like sometimes and which goofy posh spice ALWAYS looks like!
It’s an insult to Anne Hathaway to compare the two, but if Isla Fisher was thrown in the mix last year, no reason why Katie shouldn’t be this year. It’s no doubt all part of the marketing strategy to get people to buy their magazine – not an easy feat these days.
I remember once listening to an interview with some actor, I don’t remember who it was , but he said its better to wait around to be picked for a movie, even if you starve, than do a tv series, he said it was bad for an acting career, especially a young peoples tv show. He was very against it, I was actually surprised. I too, think that that Katies best is yet to come!
Hey guys, the suspense is driving me nuts, has anyone heard anything more about Katies clothing line. I saw a couple of articles , and I spotted a very very nice cream one shoulder dress, behind a pic of one of the guests.
