“Um, well, Ah, Gee, Um” – Can’t she at least hire someone to teach her how to speak in front of the camera? And why wasn’t she asked about Andrew Morton’s book? Instead, the commentator indicated that lately, there were things that have been said that were untrue, and how do you handle that. Her reply was that she is creative and they have their fmaily and friends. What? Katie would have really “UMMMED” her way through that one if she was asked a question head-on. What’s really a shame is that both the Queen and Diane have worked long and hard and are very talented and repected actresses. Where does Katie come in? They should have hired someone like Goldie Hawn to play the part Katie was given.
Oh my god! It’s so nice to listen to Diane speak! She knows how to speak more than one word per minute, answering with intelligence and aplomb. And how to answer a question direct to camera, rather than fobbing it off on her co-interviewee.
The interviewer is a also total airhead. She brings up Suri in the first two seconds. Why doesn’t she talk to Diane about HER kids?! I would be pissed off if I was Diane Keaton, because she’s smart, charismatic, well respected and a total legend, and yet all the questions are directed towards Katie, about Katie’s life and about her kid.
Wow, Diane Keaton comes across so well! She’s lovely, humorous, smart and witty. Diane Keaton talks so well in the interview and tries so hard to help KH out. Katie on the other hand comes across as a zombie-robot who can’t string together a darn sentence! Katie also comes across as insincere…like she can’t say one honest sentence in a normal way like a normal person! KH used to be so much more fun in interviews, she’s completely closed now and obviously instructed not to give a straight answer to anything. She needs to get it together!!!
This interviewer didn’t ask her directly about the Morton book but she’s the only one so far that even asked her something close to it and Katie got nervous. If Diane wouldn’t been there she would have crumbled.

And here’s Jerry Seinfield (carrying Suri’s blanket), Tom Cruise, and Suri. At least Jerry knows its best not to take your child out at night. I believe he has 3 kids. I thought baseed on the other pictures, Suri did not go to this dinner because Cruise and Katie were seen exiting the hotel without her. Maybe she complained so much about the flashes she was taken out through a secret exit (that many hotels have). I know the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York has an underground tunnel that many U.S. Presidents or foreign dignitaries have used. I’m sure the Carlye must have some secret exit/entrance for people that don’t want to be seen or bothered.
Suri looks sick and tired in the pictures that carried on her “mother”’s shoulder. Poor kid.
If Suri’s a stock, I won’t spend money on her, even if I had Mad Money.
BTW, I saw the picture of her carried out from the restaurant last year in NY. The ones that her right arm was hurt. Does anybody know whether the child was taken to the hospital? Even though Scientology doesn’t believe in medical institute.

Just looked at the photos. Why isn’t Tom carrying Suri? It’s always Katie hauling her around. And why wouldn’t they use one of her nannies to keep that poor child in the hotel while they are out and about! No excuse but for PR.

I’ve got a theory why KH wants to get another baby so eagerly. I guess she may have found out that Suri is getting rebellious, aka, seeking her identity, part of normal development, hence less and less cooperative as prop #1.
Maybe that’s why KH keeps carrying that large and empty, yet nonetheless, expensive bag, let’s just call it, prop #2.
Now KH needs to get another prop. Time to contact Josh or some other old flames.
I just looked at the new pictures and video from Splashnews and I have to say that I am starting to agree with people who criticize these parents for never having a coat on Suri. I don’t care if they are only going from the curb to the door, Suri should still have something covering her arms. Even if there is no coat, she should have on long sleeves or a sweater or they should use that stupid blanket they always carry to cover her. It has to be darn cold in NYC, especially in the evening. Suri is too young to take care of herself..that is why she has parents.
And Smartgurl….do you ever have anything to say besides cute family? Or they look great? How about putting two sentences together? I’m sorry..maybe I’m grouchy today…but you are starting to get on my nerves.
I just saw went to the celebrity baby blog website and found some pictures taken at the same time as the ones from splashnews….the ones of them out to dinner at Orsay. Suri has a black coat on in one of them. So maybe they do put the coat on if they are going to have her outside for more than a few minutes? I don’t know.
And why is she always in satin or velvet?

Can’t she wear something like cotton and sweater, really comfy and warm and easy clothes like Jennifer Garner dresses her daughter?

She sounds like an over tired baby!! Oh my goodness, she’s…gasp…NORMAL!!!!!!! Don’t tell KH and TC!!!! She is suposed to be the Scientology wonder baby. Why is the media not criticizing them for dragging this kid around the city at all hours of the night?

Two thoughts about the KH running the marathon:
1) The article says that her own mother questioned whether KH actually ran because she was not sweaty after running. (Too bad KH, Mom doesn’t buy it.)
2) The two people who said Kh finished at the same time they did were ‘invited’ to the LFL premiere that night. Yeah, sounds like a reliable source to me.
Mystery is still not solved and i am willing to bet she bought her way into Boston and will run it, if she is not expecting by then.
Liked the headline on the news film above:”Katie in Control.” It was more like KEATON in control. All KH did was bob her head up and down and say ‘ummmm.’
Suri is in full on tantrum mode in those d-listed photos. IN the final shot, TC’s expression is priceless. I just think it’s so bad they keep the kid up til 11pm “because we stay up till about 11pm”. What parents don’t stay up for quite a few hours after the kids are in bed? If she was my kid, I wouldn’t care if she still gets 9 or 10 hours of sleep; keeping a not yet two year old up til 11pm is selfish is must totally mess with her circadian rhythm.
Just a thought: maybe KH insists on taking Suri out to dinner so she (KH) will have a guaranteed conversation partner. I can’t really imagine her being able to keep up with Seinfeld, considering her repertoire of speech is ‘umm’ and ‘aah’.

Whatever drugs Katie is on, I wish I had some.. She’s always so CALM and serene..She may not say anything worth a damn but I’d take that calm demeanor anytime.
She didn’t run that marathon, it’s totally obvious. Dozens and dozens of ACTUAL runners have pointed out the obvious discrepancies.
She’s a liar and a fake and at this point there doesn’t seem to be any hope for her
I’ve counted in the Tom and Jerry night out, also the night the wonderful artist and strong woman snarled at TC, the night they put her in a dark purple velvet dress, Suri was sucking at least 3 different bottles.
One green, one white and one pink. Maybe the same body of bottle, but definitely different caps and lining bags.
So here’s my doubt. I don’t think bottle is a comfort for Suri. I think bottle is the main source of nutrition for her. I bet all her nutrition intake is sucked through the bottle. On another word, does she really eat any substantial solid food?
Is it ok for a tot? Would it affect her teeth and jaws?

My son would drink a lot and not eat. The doctor told us that most of what we drink is empty calories. We need food in order to get the right nutrients and to grow healthy. It is also a cause of childhood obesity and juvenile diabetes: TOO MUCH SUGAR.
The bottle, barley water or not, also impedes healthy tooth growth, baby and permanent teeth. The permanent teeth form under the gums in the first few years of life.
My son loved his bottle and pitched a royal fit when we took it away at 2 1/2 years, but the damage had been done and now he gets cavaties quite easily. To note, it only took him two days to realize he wasn’t getting it back and stopped crying about it. That could be asking a lot of the Princess especially considering PR shoots are at stake here. The Princess would also have to think of another way to placate her kid in public that would not mess up PR girl’s clothes.
I guess Cruise can afford the dental work that may be needed in the future. Too bad Suri will have to endure it.
I agree Dancer, I could use some of those, but it may come from simply having no work except dressing up and shopping.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. There is a scene in the movie The Godfather Part II where Kay Adams (played by Diane Keaton) tell her husband in the movie, Michael Coleone (played by Al Pacino) that she’s had an abortion because she wouldn’t bring another one of his sons into this world.
I bet one day, Katie Holmes will feel the same way. She will REGRET the day she gave birth to any kids that are physically or legally linked to Tom Cruise. This guy is gone, he is totalling, 100% into Scientology and there is no turning back. When her career flops and goes no where (which I think will) she will become restless and try to find blame with someone. She will then try to leave not because she has morals or faith in God, she is going to see she is stuck with a fake, a phoney, a manipulative, control freak who is dragging her down and he continues his downward spiral to oblivion.
Like Shirley Maclaine once said to Debra Winger in Terms of Endearment “You are not special enough to survive a divorce.” I say to Katie the same thing. You have to be TOUGH to survive in Hollywood if you do not have real acting talent but its a cruel town. I don’t think she has strong acting chops to make it. She thinks this marriage was going to pull her over to the top, its going to take her to the bottom.
I have to comment on the subject of this post- did anyone watch this video of the interview?? OMG- I thought the GMA interview was painful but this was just plain scary!!! she can’t form an intelligible sentence!! she was totally paralyzed!! her handler must have done a “whatchamacallit” just before she sat down. whew- Libra, if you prayed after the Letterman interview- I think we should all say a small prayer for her now- pray that she gets out of this with out totally losing her mind. Her parents seriously need to do an intervention- or whatever the snatch-them-from-the-cult routine is called!
