Katie Holmes has officially landed in New York City, because of her “All My Sons” Broadway debut, and from all accounts…she’s solo. No Suri or Tom, although it’s been said that they will follow later. Some are reporting that she went there by herself so that she could meet with producers and also find the family a home.
Just Jared has some pictures of Katie as she is leaving rehearsals from the Hilton Theater in New York City. It’s good to see her smiling at the cameras. I am so excited about this opportunity for Katie and I can’t wait until the play debuts and we get to see her in action on Broadway.

A few comments: I really do not like when she does not hem her jeans and they drag underneath the soles of her shoes…especially when its raining and your on the streets of NYC…just gross!! The hemline has to be so wet, and dirty….she has done this before and I am not sure as to why…she has tailors who can neatly hem her pants so she needs to use them!!! Its moments like these that I wonder why some call her a fashion icon!! Also, is that man really carrying her umbrella for her? I do not like that…..she needs to toughen up while she is NY and begin carrying her own umbrella like all the other pedestrains walking behind her!! Oh and finally….. Patrick Wilson is really cute!
Isn’t that the style?? My daughters are in her age brackett and they wear their jeans like that.. And yes someone is actually carrying her umbrella for her. Since she is always surrounded by guards/minders, I imagine they do pretty much everything and anything she needs done.

Con mom, I agree that is the style. I guess to be stylish you have got to put up with some discomfort. I never understand why celebs have someone to hold their umbrellas. I guess it is the norm.
I like the picture of her on jj. The way her eyes are lit up. Looking forward to this. Unfortunately am visiting NY in Jan ‘09. I hope someone goes for the play to tell us the juicy bits. I also hope we get to see Suri and Tom while they are there.
I don’t live in NY but I would see her if she made a movie. Man, I should start saving up so I can go on random trips to other cities. I wanna have an excuse to go to NY. Maybe in the Fall I can stop by just to see her play on Broadway.
yes…that is the style now but it seems unsanitary to me. when you then enter your home and sit on the couch cross legged etc. it may get your furniture dirty!!
PS. I want to visit NY and see this play!
Tom wouldn’t let KH take Suri to NYC alone. That is why there is no Suri with her.

You want Katie to take Suri for rehearsals? Is it so you can say she is using her for PR? LOL! They can’t win!
For all we know Suri is in NY but at the hotel/apartment.
Its good to see Katie back at work and she looks very pretty even without any makeup.

Tom has to FINISH Valkyrie, not reshoot some scenes! from what I read, there are still a number of scenes that have not been shot.
You mean, Hana, TC will come when Katie wants to see Suri and he lets her.
Im so proud of Katie… She is a stong lady and she will be there ON TOP with loving family-just wait and see…. LOVE HER!
