I like the style of shoes that katie has on. The main reason is that except for very high heel, they look like they would be easy to walk in. No fear of walking out of them, like can happen in a pump!

I too wonder how the bruises happened on her legs. I also wonder why she opted for a short dress that shows them off rather then a longer skirt that would keep the questions at bay.

Charlotte Rose: Katie and Tom did not see that play before as far I can recall. The pictures you’re referring to are I believe from them going to see Morgan Freeman, Frances McDormand and Peter Gallagher in the Mike Nichols directed Country Girl which is now closed.

I should also add that August Osage County is a fantastic play with very strong performances and if any of you are ever in NYC while it’s still playing, it’s worth seeing.

I love the dress – I think she really suits navy. I like her shoes too, not with this dress though, I’d probably have gone for a nice pair of flats. She’s obviously fallen over doing something, but being a Mum and rehearsing for her play will give her plenty opportunities to gain a bruise or two!!!

Katie is in NYC for almost daily play rehearsal………..Nothing at all glamorous about that to begin with.
We have seen pics of how the other members of the cast of All My Sons dress for rehearsal.

When she has had to dress up, for the most part she has done it well.

i like katie holmes, she is beutifull, but why in the summer time I always saw her in some colours which is not so sunny or happy, it’s summer, she has to wear something to cheers her not only white and grey and black or navy blue, is it she is sad ? but she always dress up suri so great, suri is always beutiful…..

I don’t mind what Katies wearing, she’s not dressed up or down, I like the shoes , the style and colour go well with the short black dress,as for her going with a friend to the show all the video clips of her in cafes and resturants , show that Katie tends to meet up with friends inside , who knows. I promised myself I would’nt go on about her hair anymore, but thats what is really letting Katie down, the length, she’s a longer hair type of girl, it really flatters her, obviously she thinks otherwise or she’d grow it back , I guess.

So much to say!

I’m with you guys! I’m not loving the dress or the shoes either! The shoes don’t match either the color or the style of the dress and the dress is shapeless! I don’t know what’s going on with Katie since she got to New York! She’s been so disappointing style wise.

I’m surprised she’s seeing this play again. I believe I saw pictures of her attending that play with Tom some time ago. I guess she really enjoyed it!

Finally, those bruises on Katie’s legs look painful! She must have taken a nasty spill! Glad she’s OK otherwise.

the dress is navy blue, not black. wrong style of shoe to wear with that type of “tent” dress. She missed the mark, yet again.
