It takes a reduction 3,500 to lose one pound. She lost many during the span of a few months. That means not eating.

Sorry, but as Oprah would say “I’m not buying” Katie’s excuse. If she’s that busy and that worried that she appears THAT thin, she needs to rethink her stress and activity levels. I’m a working Mom and I can maintain a normal weight. Katie was never this thin in the past. An eating disorder passed thru my mind as well. From what I gather people get those when they can’t control the outside influences in their lives so they attempt to control the one thing they can….their weight. I pray that’s not the case with Katie. Sometimes people SEEM to have it all, but secretly are very unhappy. Not saying thats the case with Katie – I don’t know. But I do know something about her statements doesn’t ring true considering the weight loss drink and her previous history. JMO….

Judging by different things she lets slip in her interviews , I think that Katie is a stress bucket and a bit of a worrier, in the Vanity Fair interview when they showed Suri, she said that things that the media say about her husband and family eat at her, especially when they say things about Tom,which are lies, she finds them very hurtful and heartbreaking, so this girl must live with a lot of inner turmoil, and then in the Times interview, she said when doing the play she could’nt look at peoples faces for fear of being judged. Well she is judged , disected , and talked about and there are people out there who say the meanest things about them, especially anything written about her child must be especially hurtful. She also said that she likes to know what is out there about them, that was in 2006 , well a lot more was said since then. Must admit an eating dissorder has passed through my mind as well, she really needs to put on weight.

I believe she starved herself in order to get as thin as she could for the Miu Miu shoot.

maybe she came out with this story in response to media flak over her Scientology detox diet that she underwent after her run on Broadway ended. Could be she and TC wanted to quiet the chatter regarding her niacin rundown after AMS wrapped up. A fast metabolism is alot less controversial than a detox-rundown.

If it’s so true that her metabolism kicks in and she loses weight when she works hard than why wasn’t she so thin back when she did Dawson’s Creek? I know it’s not as hard as doing Broadway but it’s still WORK. Sorry, not buying it!

I agree with these posts. She doesnt look like someone who is naturally thin, like a Nicole Kidman. I think she has to work at it too.

i was wondering the same thing about the celcius calorie burning drink…doesn’t make sense. i bet she is always trying to stay extra thin so she doesn’t look too huge around tiny tom.. i totally understand, i’m tall too and i used to have a smaller boyfriend and it was always on my mind to be extra thin so i didn’t feel so “huge” around him because he was so thin and had a smaller frame himself. it was actually kind of stressful. blah.
