This Katie Holmes’ outfit gets five stars from me. I love everything about it, her white coat, wide legged jeans and black pumps. She looks stunning!
This picture was taken today, the day before her big Broadway debut, outside of her All My Sons rehearsals. I was telling someone today that I feel nervous for her! I want her to succeed because I know she has worked so hard and her critics have been so harsh.
Like I said earlier, I will be on a plane to Las Vegas tomorrow (Thursday) and may not get a chance to get on the computer. Please feel free to share anything you hear about her play in the comments.

I truly don’t understand everyone’s love of these horribly awful jeans Katie wears. They are too baggy, too big, and just don’t look flattering. Is everyone jumping on the “those are cool jeans” bandwagon when really people secretly don’t like them.
Katie Holmes’ outfit is not that impressive. You really can’t see it. I wouldn’t call it stunning!
At least she looks presentable. Again, all I have to say is “thank you Tom & Suri”. I do not like these jeans, she’s needs a more tailored jean and not those skinny jeans either. I love the jacket and the bag!
I’m with you, Kary. I don’t care for the jeans either. Who wants pants that are going to pick up all the dirt on the street? And at least where I live, no one is wearing them.
I do like the trenchcoat though.

I agree she is to thin. I know Katie has always been thin but there is definately a difference between her healthy slim figure and the way she looks now.
There are some recent pictures of Katie, Tom, and Suri on People.com. Suri is wearing braided pig tails and looks adorable. There is a picture of Katie on stage with her fellow castmates and she looks beautiful! I think she is wearing a wig or hair piece which may explain her newer shorter hair cut.
Anybody here went to see the preview of “All my sons”? How was it?
Looika, no I didn’t see it, but here’s a blurb from someone who did:
“Like I said in the previous thread, I was at the preview last night and I was pissed the way Tom entered. He waited till everybody was in their seats and the lights were about to go down and then he entered like the king! He was a total jerk about it. He made it seem like it was all about him. The whole play had to be delayed while he shook hands with his friends. On top of that, I sat 2 rows behind him and he kept talking to a woman who was sitting next to him who was obviously his friend cause he kissed her before he sat down. It was soooooo rude! He was disrespectful to Katie and the rest of the cast. I wasn’t crazy about him before but now I really hate him. I hope he doesnt go to anymore shows (fat chance).
He didn’t have to watch from backstage. He could have taken his seat earlier (like 15-20 mins before curtain) this way there would be time to say hello to his friends and not disrupt the start of the play. He was plain rude. Like it was all about him. I honestly don’t know what such a sweet girl as Katie is doing with him! I was pissed and so were other people in my row. People were rolling their eyes and laughing!!
Oh yea, someone asked if Suri or Tom’s kids were there. No they weren’t. I looked around cause I wanted to see gorgeous Suri in person, but no luck. Besides, a Broadway play is not the right place for a baby anyway. As far as his kids, no luck there either. Tom just sat with friends who he kissed when he got into the theater. Some were in the same row as him and some were in front of him. Also Dustin Hoffman was at the end of my row, 2 rows back from Tom.
Katie did really well. I think Tom should stay home from now on tho. Those protesters were there because of him not Katie!!”
I’m so excited for her,by looks of things Katie did really well, she looked so pretty in her long hair wig. Tyler, that sounds a little exagerated to me.

I heard Cruise and Suri are staying at the Carlyle Hotel while Katie is living in her apartment. I hope there is nothing going on between these two!!
I love all the positive buzz Katie is getting. Even Friedman had something nice to say. I knew Katie would wow them, and she did. You go Katie. That’s our girl.
Friedman didn’t see the play. He said one of his peeps saw it and said Katie was “fine.” He also said the play was carried by Lithgow and Wiest, who are truly exceptional actors. Too bad Cruise didn’t have the decency to say so.
I might sound a bit dumb here, but if Tom was staying at the Carlyle and Katie at an apartment somewhere,would’nt those paps who follow her 24/7 get a wiff of it, and most importantly Suri would be with her mother, for the last couple of weeks it looks like Katie has rehearsed at another theatre and the media has been saying that Katie came from her apartment in West Village, maybe thats their new home for the next 3or 4 months, I’m sure we’ll soon find out one way or the other.

Thanks tyler for that update! But pls tell us more abt the play..I would love more details.
Looika, there are no formal reviews until October 16. The overall concensus from people that saw it is that she did good for a first timer and that she will continue to improve before the actual opening. The reviews next month will focus on the entire play, not just her supporting role, or Tom for that matter.
I am so happy for Katie. Over all, I have not heard anything negative from any one. Which is surprising as I would have expected a couple of people to call her the weakest link. *roll eyes. I can see even here there are those labouring to find something negative about the night. LOL
Her hard work paid off. Now I am hoping we see more of Tom and Suri. Obviously he will be there. I hope Bella and Connor are there too.
Hey guys! Sorry I haven’t posted in a couple of days. I was having internet problems and I haven’t even been able to hear how Katie did. Give me a couple of days to dig for some pics and more info.

I can tell you thrive on the negative, but maybe you can let go of the negativity for a moment if I were to throw in a comment that I saw from Dustin Hoffman who said Katie gave a fine performance. Is that better? Peace
