We are seeing lots of pictures of Katie Holmes going on a coffee run while she is busy filming her new movie “The Romantics”. Today (November 13) Katie opted for Starbucks and it looks like she got a friend or co-star some coffee too.
Katie definitely looks a bit disheveled in these pictures and I am sure the media and gossip sites will have a field day with these pics! I really think that Katie doesn’t care what anyone thinks and that she is just grabbing her coffee as is and people can say what they want. It looks like she is all set for hair and makeup before filming.
The Dawson’s Creek star is filming “The Romantics” along with Josh Duhamel, Adam Brody, Anna Paquin, and Elijah Wood. The film centers on a group of college friends who come together for a wedding. Katie plays Laura, the maid of honor to Anna Paquin’s Lila, the bride.

One must admit that she looks pretty bad when she wakes up. Thank God for make-up and hair stylists!
She’s a self-professed slob so I’m not surprised that she doesn’t care. All in all, not bad for a first thing in the morning look though.
I for one think it’s great that she doesn’t feel a need to look like a perfectly coiffed mannequin all the time.
It’s refreshing to see.
It’s not the first time so she obviously doesn’t give a hoot about the criticism.
When she wakes up oneday, and looks like a total wash-out, which is probably just around the corner, then she will give a hoot about the criticism.
SHe should at least brush her hair, and wash it (if it is greasy looking), and apply moisturizer on her face and lipstick. I think that she is sooooo used to someone else tending to her grooming, that she is literally lazy about it.
Oh boy. Nobody expects a mannequin, but would it kill her to brush her hair before going out! She’s such a pretty girl but she looks a mess. I don’t look so hot in the morning either, but I do brush my hair before I go out. If she gets negative press for this, it’s her own fault. Then again, maybe she really doesn’t care which is fine I guess.
I think she looks pretty good for someone who seems to have jumped out of the shower and no makeup. All dark haired girls have that look with no makeup. I find the last pic quite nice, and she is obviously going to the set, to get her hair and makeup done.
The thing I find unusual are how her legs look different all the time. That last pic, her legs look great as they did on SYTYCD, but in some pics they look bigger.
Saying that about legs , a while ago saw Miranda Kerr in the city when she was in Sydney, her legs are not like toothpicks , they are more like kebab sticks, they are so long and so skinny. It’s actually an eye opener to see stars in real life even done up like Mirander Kerr was.
She looks good for just hopping out of the shower. What a breath of fresh air that she doesn’t care what everyone thinks. She is human and real.

WHAT IS THIS LOOK???? I am over it ladies , just over it. Stunned at how she looks so sloppy when out in public. Simply stunned. She looks like a mom raising triplets with no help who has to also work out of the home full time. She looks like she has not slept or showered in three days or more, and is up all night breast feeding and changing diapers. No excuse at all for a woman to look this bad when she has the funds to secure round the clock help with children, clothing selections, laundry, grocery shopping, etc. Katie doesnt have to worry about car repairs, dry cleaning, washing floors, raking leaves etc.etc. as most women have to do so she has no excuse to look this tired, and worn out when she can have a bevy of assistants at her disposal. Katie, pls put more effort an dcare into your appearance, skincare, and what you clothe yourself with. Pls, you look so worn out, simply worn out.
Katie likes to wear urban grunge and I like the look, but I think she needs to wear more fitted pieces to show off her body. She’s been wearing a lot Madewell 1937. She’s been shopping in my neck of the woods for her duds. Newbury Street. You can also find these looks a few miles from the Knight and Day set at the Natick Collection in Mass.

I think that Katie really looks ok, I do. It seems so early in the morning, her hair is wet, she is obviously on her way to the set to have her makeup done. I like the short skirt, tights and boots too , what doesn’t appeal to me so much is the baggy cardigan, and the lack of colour in her clothes
Agree with Kim that she should wear more fitted pieces .
With Katie you see her in situations that doesn’t happen with other actresses, because the paps camp outside her hotel. I really believe thats why a lot of actresses are never seen natural, because everyone would freak out . I think she looks better than she did in NY last year. As far as I ‘m concerned everyone looks average with no make up on, thats why everybody wears it.
I have always thought Natalie Portman as pretty, but you should see her with no makeup on, the same with Kate Hudson, she’s probably the worst Ive seen, and Jen Garner, if Katie went around looking like her, she would be crucified, and I think that when Katie goes out with Suri, she looks cute most of the time. Gwenyth Paltrow looks beyond dreadful at times, and the list goes on.
I agree Annie that she does indeed look MUCH better this fall than last when she wa sin NYC. That short boys haircut was ridiculous, so I will concede that she looks so much better now that she has some feminine looking hair. And yes, I agree that we all look so much better with makeup on. Lord knows, I look simply dreadful without it. I have noticed that when I am out shopping at Home Depot and I am wearing makeup and heel and have straightened my hair I constantly am getting approached by men and am helped more to by the staff than when I go there in running shoes, hair curly and no makeup. I always have concealer on though when I leave my house. Who the hell wants to have a sickly reddish hue underneath their eyes and look drained??!!! Now, if I were a star and had all the $$$$ that KH has I would always look good b/c I would have help all the time at my disposal too look great and time as well b/c I would not be dedicating my time to other daily chores, (e.g car repairs, cleaning, grocery shopping etc. etc.) Come to think of it, I have never seen KH at a Whole Foods like I always tend to see Jessica Alba there or Jessica Biel. My point is, Katie has the time and money to look so much prettier than she usually does. It amazes me that a woman of her stature would not be embarrassed to leave the house looking so blah, and tahts putting it nicely!!

Me too. Thats why I always say she looks great so on my scale I don’t look half bad;)
It’s amazing what make-up and hair can do for your image. She looks great in the “on location filming pics”, so it surprises me that she goes out looking so disheveled at times. I still think she can do whatever she wants. She knows she can look beautiful when she wants to and that’s all that matters. Although, I agree. If I had all those amenities at my disposal, I think I would always want to look good when going out. I would love to have sitters, cleaners, rakers, designers, drivers, etc. in my back pocket. Sometimes, you take things for granted…maybe she does…maybe she is fed up with paparazzi and shopping all the time. I mean, you can only shop so much and get bored with it. Anyway, more on this later.
