Katie did NOT run in the NYC marathon.
Look at the race results It shows a Katie Holmes age 30 from NY but the bib# is different.
BESIDES bib # F127 did NOT cross the finish line!!!
It really is extremely disturbing how his two older children are never included in any of these functions, nor do they seem to travel with their parents. It’s sad, both sets of grandparents were at the race, Suri was there. That absolutely SMUG freak said recently during an interview, when asked how they “do it” with family, he smugly replied, “We just make it work.” Well, they don’t make it work! They want the circus life of living on the road, their children should be with them. Does anybody wonder what dinnertime is like for those two? Who feeds them? Who talks to them? Who comforts them? It would appear as though TC’s whole “family” (including Katie’s parents) were in New York. I wish somebody had the balls to directly ask him why he excludes his two older children. It’s equally as bad that they don’t seem to be with Nicole either when Tom doesn’t have them. It’s really very disturbing. Children need their parents!

It is unfortunate for them because I remember that age very well and it is a hard time. First, mom and dad need to be there to keep the kids on track because they are now making life altering decisions and two, they internalize things like exclusion when there is a new sibling, especially one who is bio when they are adopted, who gets everything and all the attention and they get locked in the house and sent to brainwashing camp.
What gets me in the fact that Kidman (who is certainly not the mom of the year in this case) is blasted for saying they adopted Bella after she miscarried and TC/KH ignore the adopteds because they have a bio to promote to the world.
Since when is KH from NY. Did they lie about where she lived too? In terms of hoaxes, these two are good at that–fake wedding last Nov., etc.
I still am not sure about the Suri thing. I think Suri was KH’S way to keep TC by the hairs in a certain place so KH got what she wanted. She is now always guaranteed a paycheck above the alimony from Cruise as long as Suri is younger than 18.

The kids are home schooled and they could have flown out with Grandma and Dad’s cousin and whoever that no name actor is that is playing nice with TC/KH. It’s weird how they have disappeared since last FEbruary. I mean KH was portrayed as Mom of the Year to those two, photographed with them everywhere, and then there is nothing of them for the last 9 months. I think Bella would have been a better shopping buddy in Paris than Suri was!!Everyone else in the family was there in NY and TC/Kh talk like they are such the family people to their kid (s?).
Question: Who cleans up all that garbage on the ground? I give kudos to them!!!

I was watching the marathon, outside my house, because the route happens to go through there, after leaving the Verrazano bridge and I never saw her, but again… there were 40,000 people there. If she did run it, GOOD FOR HER…
I am also a new mom and this gives me inspiration to continue to set challenges for myself.
The Daily Mail says that marathon officials said she registered under an alias “so she wouldn’t draw too much attention to herself” but that her time was listed in the official results under her real name. And they are.
Did anybody see Tom on TRL? I haven’t seen it but I read somewhere that his appearance was bizarre. Why am I not surprised?
Most of you have no idea what you are talking about:
a) she might be pregnant – if you have doctors supervision it is fine to run a marathon preg. I am preg right now and ran New York coming in right after Holmes – I just had to run a slower pace per mile than normal and stay hydrated
b) ANYONE can buy in with New York Road Runners to run – all you have to do is make a 2500.00 donation – that is how my whole team got in. It is a legit and respectable way to enter the race
c) I am a mother who is also pregnant and stay at home with my daughter and I found plenty of time train – running with her in the stroller and getting up early for training runs – if you say you don’t have the time because you raise your own kids or she was just able to do it because of nannies- you are full of it – that girl is always with her daughter
d) A typical marathon training program for a runner averages just 16 weeks – you don’t “train for years” to run a marathon – marathon training is a specific plan in a specific time.
Anyone who would try to take away the fact that someone ran a marathon is probably just jealous because they know they could not do it themselves. Congrats to Holmes on reaching her goal.
Wow, this board is a wealth of misinformation:
- IPODS were not forbidden – they were “strongly discouraged” – you were aloud to wear music devices at this race as NYRR said they had no way to enforce a ban
- There were a lot of people who got an orange start and were not the in the fastest 9000 – my sister who came in slower than my time (pregnant) had an orange start.
- It does not “take years” to get into the NYCM – there is a lottery every year and different people are chosen every year.
One more thing:
She may absolutely have ran the entire race and just walked through the hydration lines.
I came in right after her and ran the whole way, albeit, slowly because I am pregnant – but I did not walk at all.
My mother also ran the entire thing coming in 8 seconds before Holmes. A 12 minute mile is a slow run – but it is not walking.

The party was on Nov 18. The actual wedding, if there was one, was the week before. Why does everyone say it was Nov 18? It was just a big party in Italy, nothing more!!!
Everyone is saying the marathon thing was a publicity stunt for TC’s movie, especially since there was a screening that night for the movie and wonder woman shows up.

Unfortunately, KH and TC have PR baby and now the Marathon Running Wonder Woman Who Never Tires, oh KH!! Even Hollywood calls the marathon run a PR stunt on the part of the Cruises.
I like what the former manager said: I make it a policy to never discuss TC.
Will it be a life saving incident, an adoption, or a pregnancy/miscarriage?????? For KH, we all know that it will at least entail several Paris or Barneys shopping sprees.
whats even more pathetic is I read somewhere where someone uncovered the fact that all those people, except one, that were “saved” by him were actually $cientologists who were paid by tc to play that role.
Isn’t there a psychological disorder for people who need attention like that? I hope the next person he isn’t supposedly rescuing is Suri!!!! Can you imagine him faking a kidnapping or something like that? I hope even dim-witted Kh isn’t that desperate for attention.

Like most personality disorders, there are many factors that may contribute to the development of symptoms. Because the symptoms are long lasting, the idea that symptoms begin to emerge in childhood or at least adolescence is well accepted. Symptoms
The symptoms of narcissistic personality disorder revolve around a pattern of grandiosity, need for admiration, and sense of entitlement. Often individuals feel overly important and will exaggerate achievements and will accept, and often demand, praise and admiration despite worthy achievements. They may be overwhelmed with fantasies involving unlimited success, power, love, or beauty and feel that they can only be understood by others who are, like them, superior in some aspect of life.
There is a sense of entitlement, of being more deserving than others based solely on their superiority. These symptoms, however, are a result of an underlying sense of inferiority and are often seen as overcompensation. Because of this, they are often envious and even angry of others who have more, receive more respect or attention, or otherwise steal away the spotlight.
Treatment
Treatment for this disorder is very rarely sought. There is a limited amount of insight into the symptoms, and the negative consequences are often blamed on society. In this sense, treatment options are limited. Some research has found long term insight oriented therapy to be effective, but getting the individual to commit to this treatment is a major obstacle.
Prognosis
Prognosis is limited and based mainly on the individual’s ability to recognize their underlying inferiority and decreased sense of self worth. With insight and long term therapy, the symptoms can be reduced in both number and intensity.

I think it is because of this narsicism that TC will try to take Suri from KH, when he trades in for the younger model. I think Suri is a big part of his ego and he won’t let her go easily.

Libra and balletmama both mentioned the “18th” thing with these two. What I want to know is if they “officialized”their marriage in LA before the Nov 18 party in Italy, where is the marriage license? A marriage license is a public record, anyone can view it. I mean, when Pam Anderson and Rick Soloman applied for theirs, it was all over the media. Don’t you think if Tom Cruise andd Katie Holmes had applied for a marriage license it would be on every newswire from here to Timbuktu???!! I don’t think they are legally married. What I need to do is try and find a copy of the license. I bet it is as strange as Suri’s “birth certificate”.

My guess would be that in exchange for her services as a beard AND to protect that child that is NOT his, Mr Holmes came up with the compromise of “you pretend to be the babies father because my daughter has this image to protect and she’ll pretend to be your wife to help you out with that sticky situation of the world is about to find out you’re a big ol’ h o m o because of a certain book”

I think what the ultimate goal was, was to protect Suri. I think the Holmes’ played hardball with cruise……I think katie would have just blindly married him, and Mr. H probably stepped in and said “F^CK NO, my grandchild is NOT someday going to be handed over to this whack job”

You’re probably right, Libra. What took him so long to marry this woman that he was jumping up and down head over heels in love with? I heard they couldn’t get the prenup ironed out.
Besides that, when they were in Italy having all the pre wedding parties, people were whispering. “they haven’t filed for a civil ceremony in Italy yet”. Scientology isn’t recognized as an official religion there, so people knew the marriage wouldn’t be legal without the civil ceremony. Well, I remember Tom’s publicist saying “they are doing everything they can to ensure the union is legal”. After the ceremony Nov 18, people were still whispering that they never filed for the civil ceremony. THEN he said “oh, well they officialized it back in the States last week” NOW you tell us. OK. WHATEVER… I would bet almost everything I have that they never legally wed. We are all being scammed by this whole relationship, marriage, baby etc. It’s gotta be to cover up something really juicy. Hopefully Andrew Morton’s book will spill everything to the public, everything that insiders seem to already know.

Apparently Cruise got another award last night from the Entertainment world: Something to do with his various roles in the industry. They said his position at UA earned him the award. The trophy and mommy dearest were by his side.
I can’t say I blame Kh for not wanting to return to LA with mommy-in-law and the rest of the Cruise extended clan living there.
