Get ready for some great pictures of Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise! Katie and Suri visited Tom on set of his movie “Knight & Day” in Seville, Spain where they are filming today (December 7).
Everyone was smiling and Tom got in a few snuggles from his girls. I love the pictures of Tom and Katie cuddling and there are a couple of cute ones of Suri who looks very happy to see her dad.
Some of the media sites are saying that Katie looked “uncharacteristically happy” on the set. Give me a break! This family can not win when it comes to the media or the public. She’s either not happy enough and miserable or she’s too happy.
Regardless of what people are saying, it looks to me like Katie, Suri and Tom were all happy to see each other and that they had one fun time on the set of “Knight & Day”.

I just don’t get it. Katie and Tom are wearing winter coats. Katie even has a scarf on and Tom is wearing a turtleneck, yet their beautiful little girl is in a sleeveless dress with bare legs!! EVERYONE is wearing coats but the baby!! I don’t care if Suri doesn’t want to wear a coat or not. Tom and Katie are the parents!! It’s their job to make sure Suri is properly dressed for the weather. If they need coats, so does Suri.
Suri is gorgeous. Katie is pretty and Tom is handsome. That’s all well and good, but lack of intelligent parenting is really starting to get to me. I’m sorry if this offends anyone, but as a Mother, this really upsets me. Suri doesn’t know enough to dress properly (of course she doesn’t! She’s only 3!!). It’s Tom and Katie’s JOB to do what’s best for her and they clearly do not. They should be less interested in having their baby photographed and more interested in her well being.
I guess this is why I’m constantly in moderation. I refuse to sit here and oooh and aaaah over “cute” and “beautiful” pictures when something is obviously very wrong with the situation. Between the photo ops and improper clothing, I’m sooooo disappointed in both of them, but especially Katie since she’s the Mom and should have the natural instinct to protect her child against EVERYTHING, including the papparazzi and the cold. I know that’s how every Mother I know is. I’ll shut up now and let you guys get back to the ooooh’s and aaaah’s.

why in God’s name is Katie permitting that child to expose her bare arms and legs to what appears to be cold weather????? all the other people in the pics are wearing puffy, down filled coats and outerwear???!!! BAD parenting decision TC and KH. LOL…..LOL….completely pathetic!!
I think katie is “glowing”. I hope they are pregnant again & their family lives a happy life together.

there are more pics at JJ with KH wearing an outfit that looks a bit like what an elf would wear….not flattering for a gal with larger legs like she has. Suri is sporting a hot pink flamenco gown paired with large hoop earrings! Did I miss it, or is it Halloween again!!!??? Yes, they are in Spain, but c’mon.

I do not want to whine but why isn’t Suri wearing a coat, again……….. Everybody is wearing winter clothes she is wearing a summerdress without a coat.
My daughter just turned four and these little ladies can be difficult but there is no discussion about wearing a coat.

I am loving these pictures too. I hope the baby rumours are true too. Why do people complain about Suri not wearing a coat? Is she shivering? She is going to 4, knows how to speak and would say if she felt cold.
I too love these pictures! Tom looks so in love with his girls and Katie looks so happy. But I’m never surprised if I see a pap-shot of her looking less happy because I would be too if I constantly had paparazzis in my face everywhere I went. So I don’t believe for a second her “unhappiness” in pictures has to do with their marriage but with the strain of celebrity/paparazzis.
Seville has one of the warmest climates in Europe this time of year . I checked and it shows 20C for the high, that’s about 68F. I wouldn’t want a coat either!
Lauren…I’m with you on the “coat controversy”…lol. If Suri was cold, she’d ask for a coat or blanket.
They are on a movie set after all. Maybe they’re indoors. Perhaps the people standing around are extras who have to wear coats for a scene. Maybe it’s a heated tent. Who knows? Certainly can’t tell the temperature of the air or the circumstances of the location from a few pictures.
I know, I know……….. However it is not an exception that Suri does not wear a coat when the weather is cold. She is old enough to say if she is cold but I als know how strong the will of a for year old girl can be. Very strong.
By the way, see the pictures when they are leaving the set. I’m sorry still everybody wearing a coat. Never mentioning the word coat after this. Great to see them so happy
I agree with Charlotte. Katie and Tom are the parents and should be enforcing some type of rules. Does Suri get to do everything and anything she wants to do all the time? If that is the case then just wait a few years when she won’t be so cute anymore as she knows the world has to bow to her every call.
People think it’s cute right now that Suri doesn’t wear a coat however when she ends up in the hospital with pneumonia or bronchitis people will either blame her parents or say “she deserves it”.

Oh…well then I guess everyone, including Tom, Katie and every other person in the background of the pictures who are wearing warm clothing MUST be overdressed. Everyone else must feel the cold except Suri!! LOL!!
It’s absurd that Suri is sleeveless and bare legged. She may not want to wear a coat, but that’s why she has parents! Whether she feels cold or not, if her parents need to wear heavy clothing, she certainly does as well. From what I gather about their religious beliefs, children are adults in a small body who have lived many times before and are allowed to make their own decisions. They are not to be told what to do. With all due respect to Tom and Katie’s beliefs, if they’re allowing Suri to make her own decisions at 3 they’re going to have their hands full when she’s 13.
Not sure what all the coat anger is about….Spain is NOT cold this time of year. It’s in the 50’s and 60’s. It seems everyone thinks it near freezing!
Regardless, I think it’s common knowledge that we humans catch colds and/or get sick by acquiring a virus and not as a result of going coatless in cool weather.
That thread is creepy…a coat, really? You people act like they are letting her in the Polar bear club… My daughter( she is 6) is always hot and I am always cold…I always have the coat nearby…But even when I feel her she appears warm..and I am freezing.. The temp of 50-60 are those days when you say, what do I wear?
When my daughter wont wear her coat , unless it is FREEZING…its fine with me, when she is cold I will be ready… I cant believe people really care about the coat, I cared more about katie’s short hair..I LOVE how long it is getting.

Suri seems to me (a man and grandfather) to be coming along pretty well, though i would not be in to having her carried about so much (unless that is just ‘paparazzi protection’?).
I will be happy if my granddaughter looks as well when she gets to three, so am not sure Katie and Tom need parenting classes (or perhaps they do as they only get to be with Suri for photoshoots and her upbringing is really down to a nanny? I have no knowledge of the celebrity scene as such).
So, for me, best of luck with your lives, tomkat; and hope you get to have a sibling for Suri as, on balance, it seems it is better for a child to have siblings rather than be an only child, especially later in life.

Welcome Chris, great that you joined the club. I am not saying the c o a t word again but I will keep on going about proper clothes. As the lovely long flamenco dress with high heels to go and play outside. No wonder she just stares at children who are climbing and running and all the things you can do without a long dress in the way. My daughter of four has an opinion which I consider but to a certain limit. She has not the wisdom of an adult and needs guidance. With explanation but without letting the boundries loose. As Charlotte Rose has mentioned, if she had it her way she would be eating candy the whole day through and wearing dresses all the time. She is getting the age that she starts to admit that I have made a good decision, which will be probably disappear when she reaches puberty. It has got to be something with their religion.
A U.K. website commented on Suri’s outfit and wrote that particular day the temperature was +11. I have family out there and they say as well that it is not summer-clothing time out there right now.
Has anyone else noticed Suri never smiles anymore?
To Char. Rose…. I live in texas and often wonder Why the heck people in LA and CA wear scarves YEAR ROUND! like this summer when it was 100 to 110, with shorts and tshirts on, with a dang scarf…. and Im betting tom is wearing the clothes he is ACTING IN.. um duh they are filming a movie… and Katie seems to wear whatever is in style.. I.e. Scarf around neck… I see other people in the back ground, wearing shorts…. perhaps she has some diease.. U dont know.. let her parents be the parents. and goodness people.. I cannot stand the papz. and people who look at pictures, and go.. oh look she is unhappy.. When The paps are taking, 100 pictures per min. I know this, My friend is one, and I work as photographer, and Papz can go through around 1000 pictures in about 10 mins, ALL trying to get that SHOT… But I love how people and us will use a picture, and its of anyone, and they say they are crying, or mad, etc…. when all it reall is, is that person, In the middle of a sneeze, or think bout this, tryin bitting ur low lip, then smiling.. the camera would take about 20 shots by the time u smile.. So they get u bitting ur lip, then then the frown that comes before the smile. and BANG.. we have tons of blogs. over a picture..
Hey Bellegirl! As I said earlier, common sense dictates that if EVERYONE ELSE including the people in the background of the pictures need a coat, then Suri probably does as well. I always look at how the bystanders in the pictures are dressed. They will pretty much tell you how cool it is. If everyone is in a coat or sweater (as they are in these pictures), then it’s probably cold. Seems obvious to me (and you too apparently!). LOL!
And yes….I’ve also noticed that Suri rarely smiles. I’m sure she’d rather be at home playing with her dolls or running around somewhere than be dragged about to movie sets!
I’ve always been a big fan of katie’s since the ice storm and these are some fab pictures.. the media puts to much into it and will never really know .. but these pictures say a million words from what the media’s saying and they are a perfect example of a hollywood family. katie should get a ton more credit than she gets back of media.
