Well, if Kelly Clarkson is anything, she’s honest and you have to totally respect that. You also have to respect that not everyone wants to be a mother and it is far better to admit it than to just have kids and resent them.
Recently, Kelly told the Daily Mail: “People tell me when you are 35 you will change your mind, but I don’t think so. You have to be selfish in this career. I already give so much of my time, I don’t know what’s left to eke out.
I would not be a good mother and a lot of people don’t realise that until after they have kids.
Aside from that, the American Idol winner is not particularly keen on giving birth. ‘People say giving birth is a miracle, but I think it sounds horrible,’ she admits.

I love Kelly, but all her interviews are so inconsistent. It wasn’t too long ago that she was talking about always wanting to be a ’soccer mom’. I think Kelly says what she thinks people want to hear at the time. Plus, she’s never had a boyfriend then she’s had 3 boyfriends then she hates to date yada yada. When one watches the You Tube play of her on NASCAR and was told about Britney’s shaving her head, the reaction was so innocent and pure. THAT is the Kelly I love. I think the rest is scripted. JMO.
I think she is very brave to say she doesn’t want children there are to many unwanted, unloved and abused children out there as it is. My child never wanted kids and she has 2 now and I care for them. She’s not a bad mother but claims she is too busy to care for them. When she has time to spend with them she prefers to go out with her friends. I love them enough for 5 mothers and fathers, and they love me right back.
