Kelly Clarkson Gets Punked

Sorry folks, no Ashton Kutcher here. I mean literally that Kelly Clarkson has gone all punk rock for her third album. She teamed up with pioneer punker Mike Watt, who was famous with such bands as The Minutemen and fIREHOSE and influencing bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers and Nirvana.

He must not watch much TV though because he didn’t even know how Kelly got her big break.

“I heard that Kelly won some game show, but I was really impressed how she sang her ass off. It was intense. I’m really glad I had the experience — it was trippy and everyone gave me much respect.”

Some “game show”? That’s funny. So Kelly, how’d you get your big break in the music biz? Oh me? It was that lifeline I used on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?
