American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson opened her “My December” tour Sunday night at New York City’s Beacon Theatre. USA Today reports that the setting was intimate, the crowd was diverse (“teenyboppers, parents and their kids, plus Gen Y types … and Clarkson’s recent duet partner, Reba McEntire”) and performed a mix of previous hits along with current songs and a cover of Patty Griffin’s “Up on the Mountain,” which she performed on the Idol Gives Back.
Is anyone out there planning on attending any of Kelly’s shows or did someone go to this concert? I would love to hear from you!!!

I made kelly laugh and she almost cried everyone was applauding so much during because of you. amazing, out of the 6 times ive seen ms. clarkson. this was THE best. someone needs to tell her to sing judas though, haha its my fave!
