Last night, Kelly Rowland and DJ David Guetta performed their hit “When Love Takes Over” on the television show, “So You Think You Can Dance” which is the first time they performed it in the United States. Kelly sounded a little bit rough throughout the performance, but I can imagine that it must be a difficult song to sing live, having to keep the momentum going.
Kelly said that she was instantly drawn to the track when she heard David Guetta play it for her in France. She said, "I felt so much emotion from the track; something happened the first time I heard it, and it was just beautiful."
I’m pretty happy for Kelly! The single is doing pretty well, getting a fair amount of airplay and has peaked at #1 on the Billboard Hot Dance Airplay. On top of that, she also has her new hosting duties on “The Fashion Show.” Good for her!
