Kenny Chesney has decided to take his “No Shoes” concept to the next level: On August 6th he’ll be launching noshoesradio.com (nothing there yet!) which will become a focal point for interviews with Kenny, his friends and fans, and the crew that are part of this year’s Sun City Carnival concert tour.
The launch will be kicked off with an interview by Kenny in Orange Beach, Alabama and include a few of Kenny’s favorite songs. Sun City Carnival tourmates Miranda Lambert and Lady Antebellum will also be on hand, and the show may be simulcast online!
Kenny talked about what he hopes to accomplish with the site:
“I always say I wish I could take the fans with us. I can’t drag people around behind me, but we can still make them part of this concert experience. For me, the idea that I can bring everybody together within all the music that inspires me… well, that’s what got me started doing this in the first place, and now we can find a way to bring everybody to the show. It’s gonna be cool, and then it’s gonna keep rocking.”
