Kevin Federline isn’t giving up so soon. In his response to the divorce petition filed by Britney, Kevin is asking for legal and physical custody of the couple’s children. Insiders add that he plans on fighting the custody battle, but given his character I tend to believe that he’s to fight this battle in order to get a better "deal" than he currently has based on the couple’s prenup.
TMZ had obtained a copy of Kevin’s divorce response petition:

UPDATE: Michael Sands, spokesman for Federline’s attorney had published a quick comment on the issue: “Kevin is prepared to go the distance in order to do what he feels is necessary to protect and safeguard the children and will not be intimidated or dissuaded from pursuit of those goals.”
