If you’re worried about Owen and Cristina, it sounds like there’s a lot of reason to be. Teddy Altman’s arrival at Seattle Grace is absolutely going to complicate things between Hunt and Yang. E! Online talked to Kevin McKidd about all the changes and potential roadblocks ahead for the couple and the full interview is worth checking out. There’s a lot of interesting insight about the actor/character relationship.
What we can take away from the interview is this: There is going to be a lot of drama for the couple mainly because television calls for conflict. As McKidd said, “The characters can’t be happy all the time.” However, he also admits that both he and co-star Sandra Oh hope the two will find a happy ending. “You’ve got to believe that love for love will win out in the end.” It’s nice to know that the actors are for the couple working out. At least, it is if you’re cheering for Owen and Cristina to work it out.
There’s no details as to how exactly Kim Raver’s character will mess with the relationship, but the actor teases us with, “People are hopefully going to be very, very torn and very involved and kind of sucked into it. I think it’s a very interesting story we’re telling…Stuff happens that you do not expect. Because you know when things like this happen in life, it can change your perception on a dime. And I think the intensity of that is going to be a really interesting player.”
Vague but intriguing. Lots of mystery about what will be involved in this love triangle between the three docs.

i just want to comment on owen-he is my favorite character on the show. his character is so intense. he is so real. he brings the show to life. not that it wasnt before him, but he just tops it off. greys anatomy is one of my favorite shows.
After seeing last nights show, I can say that I do believe Owen is trying to prove to himself that he only love Cristina. I think that it could be interesting to see how they handle this….it could be even better if they move Cristina closer to Jackson…I kinda like him these days.
I think Kevin Mckidd is so cool and good looking and convincing in Owen’s character. He’s the reason I’m so hooked on Grey’s. I would love to see Owen and christina have a happy ending. And Sandra Oh’s character always make me laugh. Christina is seriously funny.
