Okay, maybe not. Kim Zolciak posted photos to her blog last night from the opening of a new W hotel in Atlanta, (check out this photo of her and Gossip Girl’s Michelle Tratchenberg from the same party. Is it it just me or does Michelle look very uncomfortable?) that indicate that their rivalry may have cooled off, for now anyways.
In an interview with People Magazine, Kim says they are “buddies”. Nene on the other hand, has this to say:
“Well, I never make the same mistake twice,” Leakes said. “We can squash the drama, but we will never be friends. She is not a good friend. We can be associates, but never friends.”
Her motivation to keep Kim at arms length appear to be motivated by keeping the drama level up in order to keep Bravo interested in their program. She tells People that plainly, she needs “her check”. The article also reports that Nene has a “mini book deal” with Harper Collins and is in Los Angeles auditioning for films. But, just like Sheree (who was also at the party) and the rumor that her fashion line will be at New York Fashion Week, I can’t find any concrete evidence online that Nene does indeed have a book deal.
Yet another made up story for the Real Housewives of Atlanta. Shooting for Season 2 starts next month.
