Kim Zolciak Still Insisting She Has A Singing Career ["Real Housewives of Atlanta"]

God bless Kim Zolciak for having the smarts to hire someone who regularly updates her web site and not creating an unreadable mess like her co-star Sheree Whitfield. Whoever Big Poppa or Kim is paying is doing an awesome job. She just posted an interview she gave to The Sunday Paper, where she complains about how she was created into a character (but also says that her portrayal was “accurate”) and is still blowing smoke about how she has a contract with a mysterious un-named music producer.

Q What’s going on with your music?
A I’m working with a bunch of new people, which is very exciting but very, very stressful. I kind of knew Dallas Austin a little bit before I started to work with him, so it was a little easier. Now I’m working with all-new people and hopefully, I think we’re going to end up recording [during the] second season, and I think it’ll probably be out in the fall. Summertime, fall, when the season airs. I’ll be able to record on the show and then release it beforehand.

Q Any names we might know, people you’re working with?
A You’ll definitely know who I’m working with. But my contract’s a little tight right now so we’re negotiating that and when that contract’s signed and over and done with, then I’ll definitely blast who I’m working with.

Why doesn’t Kim just enjoy the fame she is receiving by virtue of doing nothing but playing celebrity poker and “interviewing” stars? She needs to study under the Real Housewives of Orange County Lauri Peterson School of Gold-Digging: Marry the first SINGLE rich dude you meet, continue to appear on your reality show (another easy 10 or 20 grand for a season) , and do the things you really want to do (tanning, shopping, massages) instead of pretending to be a singer.
