American Idol season 2 finalist, Kimberley Locke, was spotted by the TMZ crew where she dished about eliminated contestant, Chikezie, wanting to ask her out on a date and how the rumors about David Archuleta‘s father were confirmed for her on-set. Hmmm…
It is NO ONE’s business as to another person’s orientation! Clay’s family and close friends knew and no one else was entitled unless he felt he wanted to share that information.
The notion that the media and fans have a right to know every aspect of an entertainer’s private business is ridiculous and wrong.
As for the whole story regarding the “tour” issue, you need to do you homework on this issue.
The entire story is well known and Clay himself felt the need to blog on his own website to clear the issue up. He made it very clear in his blog he never agreed to or even discussed in any significant length going on tour with either Kim or Ruben.
Kim was caught in a bold face lie and then she had the nerve to make a statement against Clay regarding it.
Ruben remains Clay’s dear friend. Per a recent statement from Kim, she and Clay barely communicate anymore.
How sad she lost a wonderful friendship due to her own selfish ambition.
For each their own. But if she was a backstabber she would have outed Clay as being gay years ago since she was the only one that knew he was gay. Plus no one knows the whole story about the tour talk last year.

You are correct about Kim being a backstabber. This is unfortunate because I believe she really started out being a pretty decent person. Unfortunately she let the little fame she achieved go to her head.
Anybody who knows the story about how she tried to force Clay and Ruben’s hands last year into agreeing to do a “Reunion Torur” with her will understand why there is such a sentiment of disgust for her now. I used to be able to at least tolerate her, now I just can’t stand her at all.

No one is perfect, im not here saying she has never done wrong. I’m going by her voice and drive, which is what won me and her other fans over.

I love Kim and everything about her.. SHE should have won not Ruben or even Clay… Kim all the way.

I have to agree. She should have just said she heard nothing, even it she did.
But the problem with Kim is she has really overated HERSELF over the past five years. And when you think you are so great, it clouds your ability to be tactful and diplomatic.

She has a good voice (not my cup of tea because I am not into jazzy voices, per se) but she is not great by any means.
I really try to like Kim, she has an amazing jazz voice, but she doesn’t use it appropriately, recording stuff that’s far to young for her mature sound, but she, as a person, is really grating on me. She just seems so pompous and above it all. Haughty, as my gramma used to say. Maybe it’s an insecurity thing, but it definitely is unattractive.
Best to say nothing at all, really, Kimmy, than to hint at stuff you aren’t directly involved in.
YMMV and all that jazz….
It is a good practice to not talk to papparazzi.
If she was going to speak to them, she should have talked about her album.
Kimberley looked good and sounded great on Idol!
