The cast for Burlesque is continuing to fill out quite nicely. The newest person to sign on is Kristen Bell, most recently seen in the new film Couples Retreat as well as Forgetting Sarah Marshall, TV series Veronica Mars, and the voice for Gossip Girl.
Kristen will play another talent at the Burlesque club who ends up being very jealous when Christina Aguiliera’s character shows up and outshines her in every performance. Sounds like the potential for a really good case of rivalry. I wonder if we’ll see any on-screen fights between the two characters.
This is interesting to me because while I know who Kristen is and watched her Veronica Mars series, I didn’t know that Kristen Bell possessed any singing abilities. I assume that she must if she’s playing another performer at the club. I’ll be looking forward to seeing what she does in the movie.
The more people who sign on, the more eager I am to learn more about Christina’s movie!
