Us Weekly is reporting that American Idol cast off, Kristy Lee Cook, is now engaged! She told the magazine that she and her fiancé, Andy, picked out a marquis-cut ring with “quite a few diamonds on it” and that she “had no clue that he was going to pop the question” about a month ago when he stopped by her apartment. They went down to the weight room, went in and talked and then he proposed in a sauna!
The 24-year-old Oregon native said she didn’t talk about the engagement because she wanted to remain focused on the show but on last night’s show, “he re-acted the proposal and actually got down on his knee this time. He owed it to me!”
The couple plan to get married “next June sometime.” Good for Kristy!
