Kristy Lee Cook To Make Opry Debut

American Idol season 7 finalist, Kristy Lee Cook, will be taking the stage at the legendary Grand Ole Opry this Saturday. That’s a huge accomplishment for a young artist like Kristy!

That same weekend, she will be singing the national anthem at a Vanderbilt/Duke football game in Nashville so she should be really busy!

What do you think? Is Kristy Opry-ready? I was pretty critical of her performances on this past season of Idol but I think that, when she is in her element (country music), she could actually be pretty good.

I always loved Kristy’s voice when she was on Idol. I don’t know how she had any confidence at all on Idol the way she was critiscized. Her voice is sure good enough, she just has to keep her confidence up, which I’m sure she will.

I dunno about KLC being ready for the Opry. It felt like someone like Carrie had to achieve a whole lot more to have her Opry moment.
