New scoop for Gilmore Girls star Krysten Ritter, who starred as Lucy in 8 episodes of Gilmore Girls. Krysten has joined the cast of Breaking Bad on AMC. Ausiello is reporting it as a "major recurring arc". Her character will be a love interest for Jesse (Aaron Paul).

After Gilmore Girls, Krysten Ritter was in a couple of movies (including in 27 Dresses) and had a recurring role on Til Death. Many people will also know Krysten from her 8-episode arc on Veronica Mars.

I love Krysten Ritter and hated that awful Gilmore Girls. Just was never a fan. Congrats to Krysten for continueing to land great roles.

I think she fit the part. They needed someone taller, thinner, paler, but not prettier than Alexis for naked-guy. Also, after 6+ years, you’d figure that Rory, as introverted as she was, would have more than two friends. It had always irked me that the Gilmore Girls universe could have so many great characters, but yet Rory was so friendless.
I don’t see Ritter as a leading lady, but you can have a nice career being a competent character actor.
I never cared too much for her, or her character in GG’s. I’ve seen her in other things and still haven’t changed my mind. She must have something though, (what is the something?) or she wouldn’t keep getting roles in t.v.
