[...] a Comment // Lindsay Lohan’s latest movie, Labor Pains, which premiered on ABC Family, comes out on DVD and Blu-ray on August 4, 2009. I’ve had a chance to review [...]
No surprise.
I thought the movie was awful though. Not her fault but..
It was painful to watch. The script was bad. The editing was bad. I don’t even know why she would consider doing it.
it always takes a series of small steps to make the big jump in showbiz, either breaking out or making a comeback. Robert Downey Jr had a string of small roles over the years of his personal crisis and look what happened,he got the lead role in a 350 million grossing movie called Iron Man,and now he is a hot property. Lindsay will continue to get small or medium roles, reestablish her presence, and she will get that big role that puts her back on the map. people love a comeback story, and yes, miss Lohan will walk up on that oscar stage…
i loved this movie, and can’t wait to see her back on the movie set and on the silver screen. go,Lindsay,go!!!!!!!!
I’ve loved Lindsay since I laid my eyes on her onscreen. She is such a beautiful and talented woman. What I adore most about her is her courage and determination.
she is the best wish her all the success in the near future
I don’t think it would’ve done well in theatres, but I thought it was pretty okay for a cable movie that will likely end up getting a lot more exposure in the long run via replays. I can see it cycling through programming just like Parent Trap. I only wish it had focused more on the funny aspects that the book she was promoting (in the movie) was about…like Baby Mama did. Lindsay has such excellent comedic genius that I wish they would’ve written it to show more of that. Is it just me or did she look way too perfect in a lot of the scenes? And who cast the old guy? He seemed out of place. Okay, that’s my summation. Way to stay on the comeback trail Lindsay!
2.1 million viewers is a good number, maybe it’s a bit low but Labor Pains did score a better-than-average prime-time audience for ABC Family. So, it was a vary good number for thta channel. Some articles are reporting that if Labor Pains had been a theatrical release and every viewer had bought a ticket, it would have grossed $15.1 million which is really go, I mean, it would be better than “I know who killied me2 and other films.
Are you sure about these figures. I just read the Nielsen numbers and they said Labor Pains was LOW. Maybe it was low compared to everything that was on tv for the week.
well this is no suprise lol go linds keep makeing more box office hit woo
No surprise.
Even people who are jealous of her success,
know that she is one of our most popular entertainers.
