Episode: "Elementary School Musical"
A summer camp where Bret and Jemaine are your counselors and the cast of Glee are your friends? AWESOME. Clearly Lisa wins.
Episode: "Jazzy and the Pussycats"
Bart and Milhouse vs. Meg and Jack White: Who would win in a fight? Kind of tough to say. Thoughts?
Episode: "How I Spent My Strummer Vacation"
Thanks to a Rock 'n Roll Fantasy Camp, Homer gets to jam with the coolest guys ever. Not going to lie, I'm kind of jealous.
Episode: "Flaming Moe's"
A classic episode. Who knew that cough syrup would make such a delicious cocktail? Aerosmith didn't, but they sure do seem to like their Flaming Moes-- er, Homers-- anyway.
Episode: "The Mansion Family"
The kiss of Britney Spears leads to a heart attack? I think I'll pass, thanks.
Episode: "Elementary School Musical"
A summer camp where Bret and Jemaine are your counselors and the cast of Glee are your friends? AWESOME. Clearly Lisa wins.
Episode: "Radio Bart"
This is my favorite episode of all time, and Sting has a lot to do with that. Who wouldn't want Sting to rescue them if they'd fallen down a well?
Episode: "The Fight Before Christmas"
What better way to bounce back from a debacle involving Sesame Street and your cleavage than to appear on an episode of The Simpsons? True, Katy Perry wasn't animated, but the human/puppet combination is too good to pass up.
Episode: "A Tale of Two Springfields"
What's a town to do when it's at war with itself over area codes? Have a dance party with music provided by The Who, that's what. Because really, there's no better way to reunite a divided town.
Episode: "Lisa the Vegetarian"
I suppose if you were looking for affirmation that vegetarianism was the way the go, Paul and Linda McCartney would be good people to go to. Fun fact: Paul would only appear on the show if Lisa remained a vegetarian for the rest of the series.
Episode: "The Mook, the Chef, the Wife and Her Homer"
Otto never really struck me as a terribly good bus driver-- he's always plugged into his headphones and he's usually pretty stoned-- but you've got to feel bad for him as Bart ridicules him in front of his favorite band.
Episode: "New Kids on the Blecch"
I KNEW there was something fishy about the boyband craze! There HAD to be! It was all a plot to get everyone to join the Navy!
Episode: "Rosebud"
The Simpsons does Citizen Kane as Mr. Burns spends his life searching for his Rosebud. I mean, his Bobo. Also, THE RAMONES!
Episode: "Dude, Where's My Ranch?"
"Everybody Hates Ned Flanders" ain't no "Psycho Killer," but if David Byrne liked it enough to produce it, I suppose there's something to it.
Episode: "Brush with Greatness"
Paul McCartney isn't the only Beatle to have appeared on The Simpsons. Furthermore, Ringo Starr declared on this episode that he was determined to answer every single piece of his fan mail, no matter how far behind he got with it. Now that's dedication.
Episode: "Homer's Barbershop Quartet"
There is absolutely no reason why most of you should know who The Dapper Dans are. But I am a nerd, and therefore I do. Because that's how I roll. For the uninformed, the Dapper Dans are the barbershop quartet that roams Disneyland. And World. And most of the other Disney parks. Because hey, someone had to provide the singing voices of the Be Sharps!
