Lady Gaga’s father, Joseph underwent open-heart surgery last week and is now on the mend. In tribute to her daddy, Gaga will be getting a tattoo in his name to go with the other eight that she already has.
Lady Gaga says of her plans, "I’m gonna get a tattoo for him this week. I’m gonna get a heart that says ‘Dad’ in it."
She’s actually been taking care of him for about two weeks now, nursing him back to health. When she told her dad about the tattoo, "he got all teary-eyed and he said, ‘Well, you’re running out of real estate, so don’t get it too big.’"
Those are some wise words…I’ve never been much of a fan of tattoo’s, but it is kind of nice when you’re doing it for something special like this.
