Happy Thursday, everyone! Are you all excited about tonight’s episode? And also the Private Pratice episode? I know I am. But first, let’s get on with some upcoming spoilers and also general will-it-ever-happen type of information.
As always, if you don’t wish to know anything about what’s coming up, avert your eyes. Spoilers are ahead.

So here’s a question that gets thrown around a lot: Will Isaiah Washington ever return to the show? Ever? For even one episode? Please? Alas, my dear Burke fans, the answer seems to be a resounding No. No hope. No chance. No way. No how. However! If you’re willing to settle for a mere crumb of Burke-ness, he does apparently get a quick mention in this week’s episode in the form of Cristina saying, “I miss Burke.”
For those of you hoping for some earth-shattering Mer-Der scene in tonight’s episode, doesn’t sound like there will be one. But Ausiello tells us that there will be a scene at the end of the episode featuring Meredith/Cristina/Alex that will “have you crying and laughing (and in that order).
And finally, with all of the firings going on, we’re all a bit worried about who’s going to get the axe. This week, someone gets fired. We knew that, sort of. But the new reveal is that next week someone else gets fired too!

You know, I have been really irked by all the changes going on. Ok so maybe they won’t all be bad, but why won’t they bring Burke back in for a few epi’s to make things interesting. We know him and all about his history with the SG staff. You start getting too many new faces and new stories going on and I am not going to care about the characters anymore and why I loved this show from the beginning. Last year for the first half of the year I was annoyed and then the show starting getting back to the Grey’s I love. I am not loving it so much anymore. For crying out loud Shonda, if the show is gonna end, can’t you just end it with the group we all know and love and not change the show entirely?!?!?!
Oh man I really don’t know how to say this. I have been such a loyal Grey’s fan since the beginning and always would get frustrated when I would see comments about other supposed “loyal” viewers who would say that they were no longer going to watch the show. Tonight was a MAJOR disappointment for me. I find myself watching the old eps on Lifetime and my Dvds to get enjoyment from the show lately. I was staying positive amidst all the comments about characters leaving, a new format to the show and characters coming on board. I was also a loyal ER fan until around 2003, when the storylines go too chaotic, unrealistic and over-dramatic, and the set became a revolving door and it was hard to keep tract of the characters. Grey’s is getting to that point now, after only 5 seasons (and 5eps into its 6th), while ER didn’t become like this until around its 11th season! If the intention is too keep Grey’s around for “ER longevity”, then the brakes need to be put on. Or at least make the new characters even somewhat likable. Don’t Shonda and the writers know that most of us were already on edge with losing George and the breaks of other characters and then these are the characters she/they sends our way? Not to mention showing our core characters all completely broken down? I understand that things are sad and our group is “down”, so why does she feel the need to kick them down even further right now? There is a difference between conflict and just plain destruction. Please don’t destroy this show, I love it too much and will continue to watch at least a few more to see where this is going, but if it doesn’t get better soon, I might just rely on my Dvds and the Lifetime network for my Grey’s fix.
I don’t like Nora, and what is up with Katherine??? This can not be her replacement!!!
The Mercy_westers….ughhhh! I already don’t like them. I mean, the whole series it’s been an ongoing rivalry with Mercy West. That’s what we were “trained” to believe and to side with Seattle Grace. Now, we are having to get used to MW also? I don’t like it…
Sad about Izzie being gone and leaving the way she did. She’s taking the cowardly way out…but I wish she hadn’t gotten fired : (
EvieJane, we are on Season 6 of Greys and Season 3 of PP. They both just started(Grey’s 3 weeks ago and PP 2?). Hope yours is starting soon! : )

I Think that with all the changes going on with Greys, We need a little something from the past ….But not from Owen’s past…I think we need Burke to come back!!!! I’m ok with a little change, but this is alot to handle all at once!!! If any way possible, Burke Should be the season finally at the end of this season!!!! That would be Great~

I cried THREE times while watching Season 6 Episode 5.
bruke will return the show to its golden seasons the most wonderful seasons1,2 and 3 the show in those seasons was number one ont only in u.s but around the world, i miss bruke really i doooo, i hope to bring him back after all he didnt kill somebody, and those from MW i am sorry guys u r really suck
i can not believe what is happening to this show. its going downhill. i love this show in fact after hearing about it within 2 days i had bought and watched the first 2 seasons. it was awesome…but every week its just more disappointing… writers..listen! take this show back to its roots, its going to far. AND BRING BURKE BACK.
I def agree with all of you. I like Grey’s a lot and I never ever missed an episode of it. But this season is getting pretty dull and really messy. Starting with the new people (interns of Mercy West) I’m starting to hate them! As you said there’s always been a rivalry between both hospitals and therefore them coming and treat them like crab is not what I like to see … plus chief fired many people for the merge. ALSO I’m huge fan of Dr. Burke AS THE CHARARACTER ONLY. We all know about his history with Christina and it would def be a drama and interesting part if he reappeared. I would love to see that LOVE TRIANGLE OWEN, CHRISTINA AND BURKE! and as you said …. if it is gettin to a point were it’s over PLEASE PUT THE OLD PEOPLE WE LOVED AND WE STARTED SEEING AT THE FIRST EPISODES. Those are why I trully liked to see Grey’s Anatomy and why I never ever missed one season. I could leave my books and stuff for it… now i don’t really get it

to keep T.R. and lose Burke was a bad move… T.R. is a horrible actor, I fastforward past his scenes and ache for Burke to come back. Listen to the fans, We want Burke
i agree with the last 2. it so boring now. i want some merideth action. she is like a bump on a log now….so what if shes prego…we want drama! burk is a great idea bring him back. it needs spice! kinda predictable now. lexi i am not impressed with…the other thing is- why do all the felmales talk like merideth….. like lexi and the blond doc…they all have the same speech patterns???why? need more DRAMA!! more mer and der!
i have to agree…im not liking this season at all…i feel like my favorite Greys are going to go and i really don’t like the mercy west people….and i also wish burke would come back to the picture and izzy and if this show is going to fall apart why’d they bother taking omaley off if its coming to an end why didn’t they let him go that way?
Hi, well, I am not sure if I can post this or something.
But I have read many people from different countries talking about they won´t be watching new season till next year or so.
I have ABC on cable, so I can watch Grey´s Anatomy, but I have also downloaded all new episodes, which is done by many people around the world.
So, why don´t you try to find them online or something? It´s a shame that you have to wait so far to watch new season.
I am in Costa Rica, but I am pretty sure that many people around the world download new episodes online.
So I understand everyones frustration! Our favorites are losing it, one at a time they are mentally and physically dropping like flys. Their lives are being torn apart by other characters that truely no one cares for or wants to care for. Everyone is evenly matched with someone else, so bringing these people in could possibly mean these couples get split. Where do they really fit in?
Also, as nice as it would be I think the hardcore fans of Grey’s, including myself, need to come to terms with the fact that the producers cannot and will not bring him back. We all know the reason and hate it at the same time. We all loved him, and the attitude he brought. He also made Christina become more soft at times, which was great when in small amounts. Yes, it would be the greatest idea so far after the writers strike.
My opinion is, after the writers strike the show started downhill… They already have their plans for this season, I just hope the true fans, no matter how board and upset they may get stay with it. Who knows, they might hear our cries of help to turn it around. Who knows, maybe even simplifying the story down a little would help us enjoy the new characters better. That’s still a big if.
Sorry Grey’s, but you are losing your fans slowly and it’s more painful for us than it is for you.
