In a recent interview, Lauren Conrad mentioned that she is a fan of Mary-Kate and Ashley’s style.
Here is what she said to the Chicago Sun-Times:
I’ve always loved the way Ashley Olsen dresses. I love the Olsen twin style. They really will try everything. These girls don’t follow a trend. They set their own trends. Anyone can open a magazine and dress the way they tell you to dress. It takes time to create your own style and the Olsens are brave and take risks. I take risks, too, wearing my clothes on the show. I’ve worn the entire line.
I love the Hills, but I think Lauren’s style doesn’t compare to MK and Ash’s! What do you think?

lauren conrad dresses nice but her style can’t be compared to mk s and ashleys style AT ALL
cause there r tons of girls who dress like lauren conrad I mean my clothes look like laurens but no one looks like the olsens=)
it’s not even funny. i can’t believe lauren compared herself to the olsen twins. her style is not even original. personally, i don’t think she’ll ever make it big as a fashion designer. MK and A have been in this industry forever….they’re the ultimate trendsetters!!!!! I LOVE THEM!!!!
mk and ash have such great/unique styles, lauren’s right about that.
but in no way does she EVER take risks with her own wardrobe. sorry that’s just complete bull.

yeah, i agree about the fashoin thing, but i think that if they rly did something, besides start fashoin trends (which i rly follow, there awesome!!) the twins might be able to become better role models for young girls. but i do respect them for their fashion!
there’s so many young celebrities out there that butcher fashion. i’m so grateful for the olsen twins. and it upsets me when ppl say, “what have they ever done anyway?” when i go to the mall, the bus terminal, my school, i see girls walking around, wearing fashion that mk and ashley have started. mk and ashley have influenced our fashion so much. and i’m glad that lauren conrad has recognized that. i respect her for that.

THIS IS SO FUNNY!!! LAUREN IS SO WHATEVER! SHE’S NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE OLSENS!
LC doesnt have her own style at all she follows what she reads in the magazines nothing she wears is unique, like the olsens. I love the hills as well but yeah LC’s look is just reagular and boring and her clothes are way way way over priced.
I LOVE The Hills, and I like LC’s style but it is very different to MK and Ash’s. I personally like better MK and A’s.
