Lauren Graham at Chefs for Scher Event

Lauren Graham attended the Steven Scher Memorial Scholarship for Aspiring Restaurateurs Benefit held last night at the Bowery Hotel in New York City. The Chefs for Scher event featured a tasting menu prepared by Bobby Flay and Rocco DiSpirito and 14 other Top Chefs.

The event featured 16 tasting stations, all sounding amazing. The event raised over $100,000 for the cause.

Also, Seth Rudetsky, who had Lauren Graham on Chatterbox a few days ago, relates his experience of meeting Lauren and how astounded he is that she uses British expressions like “Plummy and slam”! He briefly summarizes the interview, from her childhood to her early start as an actress. She shares how it was difficult to perform in Guys and Dolls after some of the negative reviews, but that once she “let go of the baggage”, she became a better performer.
