Lauren Graham and Jeff Daniels introduce their new movie, The Answer Man, in a new video segment. The Answer Man is currently available to watch on demand, and will be in theaters on July 24th. Lauren & Jeff introduce the film, and when it comes out, then writer/director John Hindman joins them to talk about the film and its characters in depth (particularly the relationship between Lauren & Jeff’s characters):
In The Answer Man, Arlen Faber (Jeff Daniels) is the reclusive author of “Me and God,” a book that become the new standard about spirituality for an entire generation. 20 years later, Arlen is still sought out as the man with the “answers”, though he has none (even for himself). Arlen’s life collides with Elizabeth (Lauren Graham), a single mom raising her seven year-old son, and Kris (Lou Taylor Pucci), a young man fresh out of rehab who is searching for meaning. Both Elizabeth and Kris are hopeful that Arlen has the answers, but of course we know that’s not true!
It seems to be very good.
That’s funny because in many scenes I feel like I’m seeing Lorelai…
Too bad I can’t watch it on demand in France…
Lauren Graham and Jeff Daniels are also going to be on The View on Friday to promote The Answer Man!
I hear they are going to be on Jimmy Fallon on Friday night!
I do hope for good critics for that film nothing was that good after Gilmore Girls
Just watched this movie and it’s great! Can’t wait to see what she does next!
