Wouldn’t this be amazing – Lauren Graham on The View! Listening to her antics all the time would be amazing. And some people think Lauren should go for it.
There’s no disputing the star wattage and/or entertainment value of possible replacements Roseanne Barr, Whoopi Goldberg and Bette Midler. Other names that have come up are former talk show host Ricki Lake, comediansKathy Griffin and Wanda Sykes, Oprah Winfrey’s best friend Gayle King and genial actress Sherri Shepherd.
No possible contender is buzzier than Barr, who has said she wants the job. Griffin, whose acid-tongued bark is equal to her bite, would be another good choice, said In Touch magazine executive editor Dan Wakeford.
"She’s very similar to Rosie in a lot of ways," Wakeford said. "She elicits strong reactions like Rosie. Love her or hate her, you have a reaction which makes great TV."…
Pop culture critic Ken Tucker is skeptical such hopefuls can match O’Donnell’s TV talents: humor, controversy and "an ability to keep the show moving." The chatfest needs to "look for a different personality" post-Rosie, Tucker said…
Tucker’s other favorite is Lauren Graham, who formerly starred on TV’s "Gilmore Girls." The brunette beauty is "really smart," he said, and has been out of work — hey now! — since the mother-daughter dramedy closed this year.
I don’t think she’d go for it, but it would be really great if she did!

i think the only type of interview show she could be herself at would be a show like ELLEN, i love ellen, especally when lauren is on it, i would love to see her everyday, but only if it will be funny and lauren’s self. lauren is my favorite actress by far and i love to see her in funny movies and things
I agree with you ERIN, she is too good for the VIEW. I didn’t like seeing her guest on the view, she didn’t seem like her witty self to me. i like her on shows and movies. I think she would be wasting her life working on the show. shes got so much talent, why not use it. working on the VIEW won’t expose her talent, it would be hiding it!

Oh cool,when Lauren will be on The View? Then I will watch when she will be on The View,if not.Lauren is very great and amazing actress.
The view is kind of a catty bunch, I just can’t picture Lauren Graham as part of this, in my mind, she’s too good for The View.
I think she is a fabulous actress. I also think she is an extremely bright woman but I’m not convinced she would be good on that show. All the interviews I have seen with her, she is very giddy and more than a little flighty. I think she just gets nervous and is quite inarticulate but that doesn’t make for a good talk show host.
i highly doubt that both lauren and the people at the veiw would go for it, but that would definitley be great if she did. I would definitley watch it everyday. i think lauren would add something that the other ladies of the veiw don’t have.

If Lauren gets the job i might actually watch the view!!! I don’t think she’ll be on the show because she has said she has wanted to make movies, plus the view in flimmed in New York City and she lives in LA, BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF SHE WAS ON THE vIEW!!!!!
No doubt in my mind that she would be an excellent choice; that is IF they offer it to her AND she accepts.
She’s funny and smart. She would be perfect for the View. I don’t think she’d go for it either.
It would be great if she did it, cause we could find out what she is really like as a person.
