AOL did a little piece on the "Snubs and Surprises" of this year’s Emmy Awards. Surprises being those people not expected to win, and Snubs being those who were expected to win. Despite not being nominated, Lauren Graham’s very obvious oversight got her on the Snubbed list:
Lauren Graham was not nominated, which makes all Gilmore Girls fans and admirers of Lauren quite sad. It sounds like AOL would have liked to see someone cheer out to Lauren during the Emmy’s. That would have been a nice gesture, no?

We ALL know Lauren should have been nominated, but sadly she wasn’t, I can’t say am not disappoinent she didn’t get nominated, but at the same time am not surprised, since neither GG itself nor Lauren or Alexis have ever been nominated!

I thought that they (her or the show) were nominated in the early years? Maybe it was another award I’m thinking about. Either way, it is sad that at least she didn’t get nominated. I mean, they make a huge deal about the Sopranos, which yes was good and I watched it, but it went away for 2 years and was splotchy at best with some of the storylines and you never really cared about any of them like you cared about Lorelei. I just thought they should have gotten some sort of, we noticed you nod. Some of the other people nominated were ridiculous. I mean really, are the three girls of Grey’s Anatomy that fantastic that they beat out ALL the other actresses out there for a nomination?? They should limit these things sometimes, really!!

She should of got an Award for Best Actress and the most Beautiful and Fun to watch Actress. She will always be the Best Actress for me! I wish the Gilmore Girls would of got one too, that was the Best Show ever in History!!!!

Lauren should have gotten an Emmy.She has done excellent in the past, and will in the future.She is 40 and looks fabulous, doesn’t that get something, it should atleast get her a date with George Clooney!

Back to the topic.Lauren really deserves one.Her hard work as an actress needs to pay off.nomatter what my rolemodel will be Lauren Graham with, or with out the Emmy.

Trisha, Lauren was nominated at the Golden Globes years ago, am not sure about the show, just letting you known because all the award shows can be really confusing!!!!!!!!!

Lauren should have won this Emmy years ago!
She’s the best actress ever!
Look what she did in GG. No one could do what she did.
…I don’t know why they didn’t give an Emmy to her…it’s sooo unfair!
I mean, Julia Luis-Dreyfus won for “The New Adventures of Old Christine” but Lauren didn’t?! Come on! What kind of award is that?!
