Law & Order's Mariska Hargitay Expecting

Mariska Hargitay Law & Order: SVU actress Mariska Hargitay and husband Peter Hermann are expecting their first child together.

Hargitay, 41, who plays Detective Olivia Benson on NBC’s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, met Hermann, 38, on the show, where he has a recurring role. The couple married in August 2004.

Hargitay is the daughter of Hollywood icon Jayne Mansfield and Hungarian bodybuilder Mickey Hargitay.

    You must be very happy about the new baby. You look just lovely. My husband said that I always looked beautiful when I was pregnant. Thus 4 kids. The happiest time in my life was when they were tiny and I got to enjoy the little things about them. First smile, first step, those trusting little eyes. I was their world and they were mine. Be there for the little things they grow so fast.
