Apparently, Leona Lewis has been suffering with some pre-tour jitters. It’s surprising in a sense because I think I assume that, after a while in the business, this type of stuff melts away. However, celebrities are just regular people who just happen to be famous so it really shouldn’t be unexpected to hear that someone needs a little confidence booster.
Apparently, Simon Cowell has arranged for Leona to be treated by celebrity therapist, Paul McKenna, before she embarks on her 14-month tour.
As one “source” said (take it with a grain of salt): “seeing as Leona is on the path to becoming a global touring powerhouse, no corners will be cut. She already has bags more poise and confidence than she used to but she’s a natural born worrier. Bosses at Syco (Cowell’s music management company) want to make sure her performance is as perfect and polished as an artist who has been around for years.”
I’ve undergone hypnotherapy myself and found some benefit but I certainly couldn’t afford to go to someone as qualified and experienced as Paul McKenna. Others seem to have found some relief as well. Melanie Brown (formerly “Scary Spice” of the Spice Girls) used hypnotherapy to calm her nerves before a burlesque performance of “Peep Show” in Las Vegas and Eva Mendes reported used it to get over her fear of spiders.

Awesome posting. This is very different. Rich in content and very useful.
As a hypnotherapist and radio presenter myself, I know full well what stress people in the public eye go through and how nerves do get the better of them. People seem to think because singers have a great voice and they seem confident on stage that in no uncertain terms would they ever get nervous, when the truth is they do.
Hypnotherapy is a great way to control those nerves and channel them into positive thoughts, so good luck to her, she has great talent and nerves should not spoil this.
