90210 will premiere on CW from 8 to 9 p.m. ET on Sept. 2!
You’ve probably heard that Beverly Hills, 90210 alumni Jennie Garth, Shannen Doherty and Tori Spelling are coming to the CW’s new spin-off 90210 this fall.
But there’s more to the cast than just these stars. Most of the story lines are going to about the “next generation” of up-and-coming stars.
90210 will be told through the eyes of Annie Wilson (Shanae Grimes) and her brother Dixon (Tristan Wilds) whose first day at West Beverly Hills High School is a big change for them.
The Wilson family, including dad Harry (Rob Estes) and mom Debbie (Lori Loughlin) have relocated to Beverly Hills to keep an eye on Harry’s mother Tabitha (Jessica Walter), a former television star and charter member of the Betty Ford Clinic.
Being the new kids at school is going to even more difficult as their dad is the new principal! Annie has a passion for theater, while Dixon, is the star athlete and scholar. Dixon was taken in by the Wilson family as a foster child. Close siblings,
Annie and Dixon will need each other as they try to deal with new cliques and classmates, including: Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord), a hot, spoiled, rich girl; Ethan (Dustin Milligan), a popular jock whose abilities rival Dixon’s; Navid (Michael Stege), an aspiring journalist who heads up the school’s daily newscast; and Silver (Jessica Stroup), a rebel who produces and stars in a YouTube-type video series.
West Beverly Hills faculty includes smart and funny teacher Ryan Matthews (Ryan Eggold) and guidance counselor Kelly Taylor (Garth). Kelly’s former classmate Donna Martin (Spelling) owns a local clothing boutique. And the successful Brenda Walsh is giving back to her high school by leading an upcoming musical!
The Wilson family has just begun to realize how much their lives are about to change.
90210 is produced by CBS Paramount Network Television with executive producers Gabe Sachs and Jeff Judah (Freaks & Geeks). Mark Piznarski (Gossip Girl) is the director and executive producer of the pilot.
