Lily Allen is a 10

Yesterday I was talking a bit about Pitchfork Media’s Top 100 Tracks of 2009 (link). A lot of the list was bang on but I would have put Lily Allen’s The Fear higher on the list than 31. Don’t get me wrong, it’s an excellent rank, but this song is top ten in my opinion. The first time I heard it I was in the passenger seat of my ex-boyfriends car and we were listening to Jian Ghomeshi’s Q on CBC Radio One. He was interviewing Lily and obviously she was totally funny and adorable. Then they played the track, everyone in the car was totally silent for the duration and at the end we all kind of looked at each other and shook our heads yes.
