Lindsay Lohan is being sued for the car crash she had with a van in 2005.
The accident happened on October 4, 2005. Lohan had left the Ivy restaurant on Robertson Blvd. in Beverly Hills, driving her jet black Mercedes. She was tearing up Robertson when she struck a vehicle that was making an illegal U-turn in front of her. Her car then crashed into the parked van owned by the plaintiff.
At the time, Lohan’s rep said the paparazzi were chasing her. Some witnesses say she was just goofing and speeding. The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department issued a statement saying, "Preliminary investigations have revealed that paparazzi were not a factor in the traffic collision…"
If Lohan was driving recklessly, she could be responsible for hitting the van, despite the U-turn that triggered the crash.
Grandeur, Inc., the owner of the van that was struck, filed suit on May 18 in Beverly Hills Small Claims Court for $3,624.84. The case is pending.
Florian Loeckle, the CEO of the company that owns the van, told TMZ before filing suit, he sent Lohan a letter asking her to pay his repair bill, but got no response.

So many people are trying to take Lindsay down, trash her, out her and take advantage of her right now!
Isn’t there a time limit for when you can no longer sue someone – honestly I find this just …. words fail me.
Like Lindsay needs this right now – well I gues har lawyer can take care of it.

i find it really odd that this van owner is just now suing over the 2005 accident.there sure are a lot of people jumping on the “take down Lindsay Lohan bandwagon” since her accident and rehab.i find it ironic that Lindsays character Rachel in Georgia Rule,who IS Lindsay,has a line:”it’s always about a car…”i really liked this movie by the way,i saw it a couple of times.i just hope that Linds recovers from this mess with her sanity.get well and show the haters you are here to stay.peace

Yes — it seems like it’s “open season” on taking Lindsay down — I’ve heard of “deer season” — but not “Dear” (Lindsay) season! There’s other ways, too — like when a site such as this one perpetuates the onslaught by picking up “certain pikturze” and posting them here for everyone to see — not nice, and certainly NOT necessary — agreed?
