JBinTokyo — I’ve seen a lot of shots where the “family resemblance” to Dina comes through — Lindsay DOES have a lot of Dina’s features — whether that’s “a good thing” or “not a good thing”.

The point is, it’s not Dina’s physical looks that makes here so unattractive — it’s her not-so-nice personality (a.k.a. selfish, egotistical, self-aggrandizing, daughter-usurping, all-children-usurping, party-momager) personality that has earned her the general “eww” award.

Lindsay has a much more charitable, generous, willing-to-give-the-benefit-of-the-doubt–to-a-fault, PLEASANT!!! personality! — she can look like Dinah — and still come out orders of magnitude ahead! Dinah — contrary to her vicarious live-my-wannabe-life-through-Lindsay — will never be Lindsay.

And — Lindsay will NEVER be Dina!

– oh, the wonderful life of a celebrity — getting to go shopping with a bajillion “heeey Leeeendsee” smelly paparazzi cameras going off in your face — I’m sure it’s possible to focus on what your trying to do, how you look, etc. — must be just a lot of fun (but not more fun than a barrel of monkeys, ’cause you already have that with the paps hanging around in your face … )
