Vanessa Williams spoke up, after the news of Lindsay’s shortened Ugly Betty arc and the gossip that she was inappropriate on set. Vanessa Williams has nothing but good things to say about Lindsay.
“She was a hard worker, she showed up on time and [in] the scenes I had with her, she was completely prepared,” Vanessa tells ET. “She was great with me.”

Fellow b5 writer Tom also asks – was this all a publicity stunt? Did the episode last night seem too much like what’s going on in the news?
Regardless of whether it was a publicity stunt or not, things are a little rock for Lindsay on the acting front. She has not been pushing out the roles as much as in the past, and one insider says Lindsay is not currently shortlisted for new acting roles right now.
The issue, they say, is not whether or not Lindsay will show up to set or not. It’s that she’s not drawing people to movies any longer. Which I think is just crap – the huge following Lindsay has should be proof that she’s a draw still. And that the success of films like I Know Who Killed Me did much better with her attached to them than they would have otherwise.
Another insider says:
“Every project she’s had has fallen through. She’s not even filling up her time with independent films, which is usually the strategy when work gets slow. She’s a good actress, she’s just stuck right now.”

I’ve watched the majority of Lindsay’s movies and love them. There are a few that I watch over and over because I love her comedic ability. So, I agree. For me, I am more likely to go see a movie with her in it.
i don’t watch much tv,but i did look at some of the
vids and read the wikipedia on this show,i personally
just see this show as a compilation of more high
schoolish class attack bourgeoise non sense
i really can not see by judging from the other actors
and actresses that this show would even require
some sort of deep passion or conviction when it
comes to playing a character,i mean come on!
i think if i was lindsay i couldn’t take this thing
seriously,it’s a bunch of actors and actresses
just bieng goofy,i don’t see the fine craftmanship
of this show
what is lindsay suppose to portray other then
what she is doing?…this is so stupid
maybe it is a publicity stunt?…what ever man
I heard she have 2 new movies in production
and she is set to star in SCREAM 4 and 5
I would love if she could be in a 007 movie that would be MAJOR
LOVE YOU L-SQUARE

I just hope she make good CHOICES
LOVE YOU LA LOHAN
and I KNOW WHO KILLED ME was not that bad LINDZ was in it so I was HAPPY :0
OMG did she said she FIRED her in the end
SO NOT COOL
Finally…someone to defend Lindsay. Knew that the rumors were false from the start!!
i know who killed me was a crappy movie;
the only reason why i bought it was the blue roses and HER in it; without her, that movie wouldnt even EXIST!
I hope so, too, Lancellott. Problem is, talent is no guarantee for doing quality. Richard Burton was an actor of enormous, arguably greater talent and prettier to boot whose career in film is a parade of disappointment. He’d made a few decent films, like Taming of the Shrew, and Night of the Iguana, but none of them would be called great. Certainly not on anyone’s list of the best films ever made. Meanwhile the bad movies he has made easily make worst lists. I have seen a few of these, and read about others. As bad as the reception of I Know Who Killed Me may be, it’s no where near the career low that 1968′s Candy was for Burton.
My point with all of this that Richard Burton was an enormously talented actor who’s career did not amount to a whole lot in terms of quality work. Lindsay has several influences, notably Marilyn Monroe. But she needs to learn from those who’d come before her. And I think Richard Burton can teach her a very important lesson about wasted talent. I say this because I do not want this to happen to her.
She’s a good actress? ……. she’s a MAGNIFICENT actress! I LOVE her and her movies)))
OPIE, I hope also she can make something great.
0h, i hope Lindsay will be OK! She`s great actress, we all know that! Keep strong, my dear! Love u, LL! peace xoxo
I take exception to your comment about I KNOW WHO KILLED ME. I don’t think it was a success. Box Office Mojo lists it’s worldwide gross at about $9.4 million. Wikipedia lists it’s production budget at about $12M. Not very successful, although it did up the gross to $21.4M with DVD rentals and sales.
But, this is the kind of movie that probably would not have been made in the first place were it not for her presence. Otherwise it probably would have been straight to DVD or not even made at all. I think the failure of this film hurt her career more that the three stints in rehab that same year.
But, I am still sad that she having trouble rebounding from all of this. It will take time, and I still believe she can make something great. I’m just bummed she’s having trouble getting work.
