“get real” — yes, besides that she is young, and — perhaps worse off than an orphan — has been the object of her parents’ self-serving interests, and therefore considerably un-guided, un-coached, and unsupported emotionally, in an hostile environment — yes, a young woman in such circumstances may, in the process of trying to support herself emotionally, become somewhat, as you say, “self-centered” (?) … perhaps, a little.
I suddenly realised how impressionable, immature and self-centered this girl is. Good article!

wherever you are,i am wishing you the best,both in health and clarity of mind and spirit.while i am happy to see anything that is positive,even this magazine article with its obviously out of current context,it is sad that all of this p.r. and image promotion hides the pain and conflict of this beautiful,yet damaged soul.i sincerely hope that she is seeing some light at the end of the tunnel,some distant ray of clarity to reach for,to step back from the abyss.i can relate to her struggle on a personal level,in that addiction and loss of self-image and confidence,is difficult to get a handle on when everyone around you has their own agenda and judgements about you.i beat my demons by changing my enviroment,and finding the time to focus on myself,not the idiots controlling my ‘life’.in the end,it is yourself who is responsible for your actions,decisions,and consequences,NOT bad parents,crappy ‘friends’,terrible bosses or managers,or anyone else to lay the blame on.if there was one thing i truly learned from my mess,it was that only i that could make the decision to turn my life around,to get back in the game,to want to be a productive member of society again.so,in the spirit of caring for your fellow man,i wish nothing but the best in life and recovery for my favorite entertainer,miss Lindsay Lohan,and for her continued success in showbusiness,not to mention some positive results in dealing with the legal issues and the many jackals waiting suing her for this and that.love always,a huge fan and friend.peace
