Remember those wicked photos of Lindsay Lohan and the superhero characters? (here and here) Well, that photoshoot, for Harper’s Bazaar March 2008, is soon out!! The magazine will hit stands on February 19th.

Lindsay on her dreams of a music career: “I’d love to work with Timbaland. I’d love to work with Kanye West, 50 Cent if I could.”

Lindsay on the one thing she can’t give up: “I always feel like I need a cigarette with coffee. But I’m trying to smoke less.”
Lindsay on the paparazzi: “The cameras are constantly there, and they’re constantly looking for the negative. So one roll of the eyes and you’re deemed drunk. One wrong step, your ankle twists, and you’re drunk. They can declare, ‘Lindsay drunk in the day!’ Which I never was in my life, actually.”
Lindsay on partying, but being a homebody at the same time: “I have it in me to go, go, go. I’m still young. I love life. I love music and being around that. I love people, and I’m a very social person. But I also love being home, quiet and normal…I’ve always been a homebody…Seriously…I was just running away from what my home had become.”
Lindsay on the last year: “When I look back on this last year, it’s like, what was I thinking?”

OK, Roll On Patty — thanks for that clarification — it really didn’t come across so much as ‘hating’ as some have.
I quite enjoyed dave’s interpretation of the photo — I am surprised that you seemed to miss that it was an “as-if” sort of response (as opposed to a hard statement of fact) — it seemed to bother you that someone might derive such a sentiment from someone of whom they are so fond.
Is it entirely implausible that Lindsay has truly corrected her course and set her sights clearly on the top? Of course, as her fans, we certainly have a strong wish that it is so. And yes — when you love someone there is always the hazard of being slightly blind to the imperfections and always optimistic in hoping for the best.
So what I (and a few other ‘veterans’ of this site, as you can tell) find as cause to come to the defense is the not-so-subtle stance taken that what we are seeing from Lindsay is, at best, insincere (“…unless you’re very naive you can see Lindsay is doing some serious damage repair” and ” … lying”) — and that you have given the benefit of the doubt to the media. On what basis — other than your own conjecture and personal disposition towards Lindsay — do you call into question the degree of sincerety and genuineness of what she is doing versus what the media reports? Not that we question your freedom to do so. We all have to ask ourselves the same questions. But we do it out of our concern for Lindsay, not for the opportunity to disdain her.
Of course we see that she is doing some “serious damage repair … “. We expect that she will — why wouldn’t she. BUT — she’s doing it by simply getting back to being WHO SHE IS — LINDSAY !! :-)
Nothing insincere about that, is there? And if you will read back through these posts, I think you will find we are far from naive. Truth of the matter is, many of us have been through the media blood-bath and fecal fest (and worse .. I can’t say here — Arieanna won’t like) poured on Lindsay during her difficult time. What we have seen repeatedly is that the media repeatedly regurgitates and defecates, and re-regurgitates and re-defecates ANYTHING it possibly can to provide an incentive for its stupid, mindless consumers to $$$BUY$$$ — Lindsay-be-damned. And we’re all pretty sick and tired of it all, so, there just isn’t a whole lot of love left for people who show up in here riding the same old horse … I think you might understand? Go ahead — read back a few posts — and then reconsider, if you care to, the basis on which you ground your opinions.
As for Lindsay, she has MOVED ON, she IS moving on, and pretty soon the trashloids will have to find a new target, because Lindsay is moving into CLASS! — where she belongs. And we all know that stupid, mindless consumers have no possible interest in that, now don’t we?
Lindsay — keep moving on — you GO! girl.

Linds really is on the PR blitz lately, oh & I wasn’t hating with my comment about being delusional I just thought it ridiculously funny that someone could read into the photo as if reading Lindsays mind! Oh and Michael seems to be the only one here without a Lindsay shaped blindfold on, I’m sorry but being a fan of a celebrity does not mean you just swallow any PR they want, my friends & I can easily admire & support Hollywoods finest without going on the defensive if anyone disgrees or sees through what the celeb says, this is Hollywood after all not Disneyland, unless you’re very naive you can see Lindsay is doing some serious damage repair after a nightmarish 2007 & for her determined efforts I admire her after so many have written her off. Lindsay is a great talent (shock horror folks I’m not a hater after all) but lets not be naive about the media people

everytime i see this beautiful cover shot,i have this vision of the breathtaking lights of the Aurora Lindsayalis falling softly over hollywood and the entertainment world,and everyone pales in comparison,once again,to this shining beacon of raw talent,charisma,and a truly fascinating and thoroughly entertaining personality.love you,Lindsay.love always,a huge fan and friend.peace

GOOD-’O Elizabeth ! Rock O-N Girl ! Yes I too believe that Lindsay hasn’t had sex witheveryone who has stayed the night at her place, I have had a number of female friends lately who for one reason or other didn’t want to have sex, but at the same time didn’t want to sleep alone in the house where they were staying, so they slept here, on my couch. Not screwing everything and the kitchen sink, just not being alone. Something about sleeping in a house alone scares some people, males AND females. so I can see this. I would LOVE to spend one night ( though that would not be enough by far ) Sleeping just holding Lindsay, even if we didn’t have sex, and I wouldn’t run straight to the tabloids to tell all about it the next day either. LOVE works that way.

Michael,stop being pessimistic why don’t you?! The guys she was with may really be friends WITH BENEFITS OR they are friends who she just had a one night stand with. That is not lying. Why don’t u accuse the media for lying huh? And the fact that she’s constant AND consistent with what she says is already honesty.If she said this but said THAT, that would be lying. If she contradicted her statements, that would be lying. But she didn’t contradict, in lieu she stood and stayed consistent with what she said. Think first before you open your blasted mouth and scrutinize Lindsay. WE, FANS, remain HERE and LOYAL for a reason. Not all of us our stupid, okay?! Maybe you’re the one who needs to get to the right thinking.
PS. And I doubt she said that when she was 16.
PPS. Why should Lindsay sue the guy? THEY ARE FRIENDS, according to her, right? (sarcasm)
So yeah, think first before saying something. You think you’re so smart and all that. Just leave her alone.
She’s beautiful, but still lying. She has done this same “I’ve matured” interview a thousand times. She’s even repeating herself word-for-word like a malfunctioning robot: “If I’ve been with every guy they say I’ve been with, I’d be dead by now.” She’s been using that line since she was 16.
Then she says that the guys in Italy were “just friends”? Then why didn’t she sue the one who said they slept together? And how was it that the other, hairier one stayed overnight with her in her hotel and they were photographed half-naked on the balcony the next morning?
I don’t even hold her Italian adventure against her — she’s going to go through this kind of “dog in heat” phase. But why blatantly lie about it? It makes her sound stupider than Heidi Montag.

Roll On Patty — dave is not delusional — he’s just connected in a very positive way to all that Lindsay is and is to be. He — and we here in this post, are very strong supporters of Lindsay, and hope for the best for her always.
Does it come as a surprise to you that some people respect, like and admire Lindsay Lohan — not because she is perfect, but more especially because she ISN’T perfect — and she STILL comes out on top !!!! EVERY TIME!!!!

Harry…for a while i was convinced that she was blonde for her role in ‘dare to love me’,now,not so sure.both ‘dare to love me’ and her hopeful try for ‘wuthering heights’ are period movies,so i don’t think the platinum look will be used.’dare to love me’ is on hold because of script problems and rewrites,and as we all know,those writers are still on strike,so no work has been done on the script.i read that miss Lohan was also in consideration for another film,besides these two,and i really hope that the distinctive auburn-red hair will make an appearence somewhere in the near future.i hope Lindsay is very successful in getting her career back in full swing and plenty of projects on the table.go,Lindsay,go!i love her sly smile on the cover,that she is once again,back in control,and that we shall see her again,on the silver screen,on our cd players,and on the covers of many more magazines.love you,Lindsay.love always,a huge fan and friend.peace
