Looks like Lindsay Lohan is not the only family member who wants to be an artistic advisor to the fashion world.
Lindsay’s mom Dina Lohan is getting in the shoe business — planning to release a collection of inexpensive shoes with a special name — Shoe-han, according to E! Online.
Shoe-han will be a collaboration between Dina Lohan and Long Island company I Love My Shoes.
“She will do a radio and TV commercial and she will sit in on the casting call to find two or three hot girls we need for the commercial,” I Love My Shoes founder and president Robert Yeganeh told E! Oline, “Although she won’t be the designer of the line…she’ll definitely have a major influence in which direction it will go.”
Dina Lohan is expected to join I Love My Shoes founder and president Robert Yeganeh at a press conference Thursday to announce the partnership. (So we should get a few photos!)
So why did Yeganeh pick Dina Lohan to help launch the new line?
“She’s definitely got a good eye and she’s got it together,” Yeganeh told E! Online. “She may not be followed as a fashionista but if the shoes are designed right and priced under $100…they will sell.”
The plan is to have a few designs out by Mother’s Day 2010 with a full line of 25 to 35 shoes for sale by fall 2010, Yeganeh said.

I think Dina keeps a pretty low profile compared to someone like Kate Gosseling. Her kids are getting older and it makes sense that she wants something of her own, not to mention income. I think a shoe line is more apropriat than a reality tv show.
Lindsay has brown eyes just like her mother, father, sister and brother.

They are all desperate for fame. I really feel for Lindsay. She wants a mother, and all her mother wants is to get famous.
