According to the Mirror (a very untrustworthy source), Lindsay Lohan was passed over for a movie role in the adaptation of the novel Undiscovered Gyrl by Allison Burnett.
Lindsay was reportedly passed over for the role, which tells the story of a teenage girl blogging about her sexual coming-of-age, because the producers felt her to be “too jaded” for the part. And the author reportedly felt that Lindsay had too much “baggage” for the role:
“(Lohan) is a wonderful actress, but her fame and baggage would only work against her.”
Although it’s harsh to hear, I can understand it. Lindsay is very overt about her sexuality. For this role, people would need to believe she’s an innocent just discovering her sexuality. But there’s no reason the media needs to blow it way out of proportion…

Lindsay is the best actress in Hollywood and is admired by many for her fearlessness and honesty. I absolutely adore her and hope to see her on the big screen again. She is so unique and beautiful.
Lindsay stated in at least three different interviews between 2005 and 2006,that once she left her high school roles behind,that she would doing adult roles,growing with her fans,and she has done that. i don’t believe this trashloid jazz,because even if this ‘story’ is a bunch of crap,the director and producers won’t deny it or even comment on it,since it gets free publicity for the production and fan interest,even if the ‘big name’ is not associated with it. in hollywood,there is no such thing as bad publicity,everything is some kind of promotion. another thing,there hasn’t been a single word or comment put out by LLs publicist on either this rumor or that ‘the hangover’ movie rumor,so i tend to believe this is all garbage from the trashnet. 90% or more of all this trash you see on the net,IS ONLY ON THE NET,never mentioned in reputable industry publications or top tier entertainment magazines,as these magazines don’t wade in the cesspool of trashloid yellow ‘journalism’,read lies. whatever
I don’t think Lindsay would have been really interested in this part anyway. I think she has left her “teenage” roles in the past. Anyway, I live in the UK and the Mirror group generally talk tripe…NOT to be trusted!
Well she’s got Rodriguez’s “Machete” now and I doubt this “coming of age” indie movie was going anywhere!
