Lindsay Lohan has posted a note to her MySpace, saying she’s sorry not to have posted in a while but she’s been catching up on sleep after all her travels.
Lindsay also reminds everyone in the US that tomorrow is an important date – and that every vote counts.
“The future of our country depends on it. Just one vote can make such a difference… Vote-because your thoughts are worth it..VOTE-because YOU can make this country a better place…VOTE-because you can.”

Lindsay ends her blog post with “RIP Max” for Samantha. Do you think that was perhaps Sam’s dog? If so, that’s so sad! Well, sad no matter who Max was!

Some additional digging, I have found weak confirmation that Sam’s friend had died on a motorcycle and Sean’s friend had died in November. So, it looks like this is the guy. Go me.
And the video Lindsay appears in is “Friendly Fire” she appears around the two minute mark acting out a little scene.

Incidentally, it turns out that Max LeRoy was a member of Sam’s band and worked on her album, “Red,” with her.
There is also a Max LeRoy who used to be friends with Sean Lennon (John’s son) until he slept with his girlfriend. This is the Max LeRoy who died in a motorcycle accident in 2005. Sean never had a change to reconcile with Max and their friendship is the inspiration for Sean’s 2006 album, “Friendly Fire.” (In a odd little connection, Lindsay appears in one of Sean’s videos for this album)
Now, I must make it perfectly clear that I have no clue if these two Max LeRoy’s are the same person. There is reason to believe they are, but I have not found any confirmation of this. I also have not found a date of death, so it is also possible that Lindsay may have been talking about a completely different Max altogether.

Samantha’s Dog, incidentally, is named Cadillac, if memory serves.
I did a little digging, and the only Max I could come up with is Max LeRoy whom Samantha lists as one of her influences. I guess he died in a motorcycle accident in 2005, but I can’t confirm if it was him or another Max LeRoy (You’d think that would be a unique name, but you’d be wrong) nor if he died at this time of year, prompting the RIP message in remembrance. but, maybe someone with better Google-Fu will dig something up.
