Lindsay Lohan has settled on the civil lawsuit with the Ivy busboy from the 2005 car accident.
Raymundo Ortego was claiming Lindsay Lohan was negligent in the collision with his van, as Lindsay was leaving The Ivy. He also claimed she was intoxicated prior to the crash. Lindsay Lohan had filed a countersuit to Ortega claiming he and some unnamed defendants were the ones responsible for the crash.
Ortega was seeking $200,000 in damages – we do not know what the final settlement was. I am glad, though, that this whole thing has been settled.

I agree with the above. Of course we don’t know what the guy got. Most likely she just paid his attorney’s fees for him to go away. Lindsay avoids the adverse publicity of going into court.
It would be better if we heard that he got the SHAFT !! Wish we had some details of this one, that Opportunistic Parasite ! ” Guest Worker ” so not ! Didn’t have a valid Drivers License in the first place, so had no business being on the road for Lindsay to HIT in the FIRST Place, much less after making an Illegal U-TURN right in front of Her he should have been ARRESTED and GONE TO JAIL, and then be Deported !!!!! SO California !! Why didn’t you enforce your OWN laws in the first place ?? Then there would have been no court case for Lindsay to have to deal with 2 YEARS AFTER THE FACT !!! Perhaps the Entire Justice System in California needs to be Investigated by the US Grand Attourney’s Office !!
It is SHAMEFUL that Lindsay should ever have been put through this !! I am amazed that She handled it with so much Grace and Poise.

Well i’m happy that the lowsuit was settled…Love always…peace
