In all honesty I know exactly how lindsay feels. How you make yourself better is to get everyone that is bad out of your life. It means changing your lifestyle. I think moving out of hollywood would help her soo much. Granted there are temptations where ever you go… its all in who you surround yourself with. I think she should move from the west to the east and visit the south. I’m born and raised in GA and the country may be just what she needs.

Lindsay’s Friend Right you are, But I think She could continue to work if She wants to, and Live else where, not in Holly-most-definitly-would-NOT, a place that just screams excess in it’s life style. No wonder the Glitz and Glam are so apealing to today’s young, it was to US too. The feeling that ” anything goes ” is a powerful magnet for rebellion. And unfortunately also for Talent. But Talent with out defined limits on Behavior is self destructive. As Lindsay has found out by all her so called ” Friends ” selling her out, over, and over, and over. Some People just learn slow. But Lindsay is Smart, just too trusting, She has learned but at an awfull personal cost. Frankly not one I could or would afford. Lindsay should come and room with me, I have a spare couch, and even have my own Washer and Dryer, Kenmore Brand. some of sears best, ( but no LCD screens, just knobs ) not the cheap stuff for me, even if I do have to climb out on the roof to do laundry….( small house ) No just kidding they are snugly inside in the pantry. I’ll even clear out a closet for Lindsay’s clothes, then build six sub-basements for the rest of them, I’ll make Room for Her even if I have to put up a tent !!

Well, Deep — I’m not sure she’s going to quit *working* in Hollywood — assuming she’s not totally fed up with the whole scene; I could certainly see why she might rather not live there — at least not call it “home”. Hollywood home? yeccchhH!

But then, Deep, you seem unwilling to give Lindsay, the 21-year-old person, human being, young woman — the choice to try something different — to live her life the way SHE wants to — as if she owed you a life of enslavement to the silver screen. I’m afraid a lot of her fans have this “vested interest” in hanging onto Lindsay as their compass and guide. Yes, Lindsay has been a guiding beacon to millions of us. She always will be — to those who love her. But let HER how she wishes to do that. And don’t make it any more difficult than it already is. Let’s not assume that for her to make such a decision means that anyone has “screwed with her mind. Or if so — might it not be as likely that Hollywood has had more to do with screwing with her mind than anything else.

How about, ” … it’s time to set Lindsay free — from a crushing burden of expectations of demanding “fans”

Let Lindsay find out who she is — on her own terms — not ours.

Lindsay — God has created you for a purpose, and He has gifted you with many abilities. Spend some time now talking with Him about what He knows is best for you — you KNOW He loves you, and He’s just waiting for you to turn around and say “hi, God — it’s me — Lindsay” :-)

Oh how He waits for you! — He waits for us all !

I don’t believe any of that stuff. And, I don’t believe that she is going to quit Hollywood. The tabloid site is probably just making it up. If it is true the Cirque folks have really screwed with her mind. But its not true.

I know several people whom I consider to be very bright, talented, successful people.

— they work in “the city”

— they wouldn’t think of LIVING there.

The words “living” and “in the city” are mutually exclusive.

When it comes to “very bright, talented, successful people” — Lindsay has to be at or very near to the top — the logical conclusion is inescapable.

‘WAY TO GO LINDSAY! :-) :-)

I think you will find “life in the country” suits you VERY WELL! — you just hadn’t had a chance to try it!

(of course, Larry R’s been tryin’ to tell you that all along — right Larry? ;-)

If quitting hollywood is the price to pay to get away from the drugs…Than we just have to accept that…her life is more important that movies…but i really don’t think that Lindsay is quitting movies becouse she is born with this talent and many more ….I LOVE YOU LINDSAY….and i wish that God will wach over you and give you all the things that you wish for…Adicted 4 life to Lindsay Lohan…peace

i have only watched four movies this year in the theater,the incredible Georgia Rule,I Know Who Killed Me,Die Hard 4,And my girlfriend and i just saw The Brave One,with Jodie Foster,wow,that movie was great.i only capitalize names of actors or actresses that give me an electrifying performance when i see them on the silver screen,and Jodie Foster was riveting in this role,just as Lindsay is captivating and larger than life,no matter what character she portrays.i do not believe for one instant that she is quiiting hollywierd,as she is a born actress and absolutely electrifying screen personality.the only time i see her positively happy and so alive is on the silver screen,as she gets to show her artistry through expression in her characters,and that is why her characters are so defined,believable,sympathetic,and so real,because the characters are a part of her,an extension of her personality,if you will.that is why there are so few real actors in hollywood today.the screen roles of old hollywood are still so relevant today in cinema because actors back then really perfected their craft,put their all into the character,and it still lights up the screen,forty or fifty years later.just watch ‘Roman Holiday’ with Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck,and you will see my point.Lindsay has that star quality,charisma,screen presence,beauty,timing,and the list goes on,but first,she has to get a handle on the inner demons.all artists are conflicted and tortured souls,that is the price they pay for showing their soul and inner workings in the performance of their particular talent or talents,beit movies,music,theater,dance,etc.i wish miss Lohan the best of health and happiness,and i WILL see you again,on the silver screen,larger than life,and touching my soul in another sensational cinematic performance.you go,Lindsay!!!love always,a huge fan and friend.peace

Tears for half an hour together ? Was he exaggerating ? Leave hollywood, i agree but not leaving singing and acting i hope. I mean her career, yet then again, bad party and friends are everywhere.
