A couple of updates on Lindsay Lohan:
- Lindsay Lohan will need to stand trial for the civil claims laid by Ortega for the 2005 accident in which Lindsay hit his van. Ortega is claiming over $200,000 in the suit. The case will go to court after April 7 of 2008.
- Lindsay Lohan may be staing at Cirque a while longer
Re: the last claim, it’s difficult to know what the truth is or not. A lot of what gets said to the press about Lindsay Lohan leaving rehab could be to throw the paparazzi off on her actual release date. Her mother, Dina, claimed that Lindsay would be leaving quite soon, while TMZ says a "source close to Lindsay" claims Lindsay will be staying some time longer. I guess we won’t know until we see her leave!

A Real ” Juice Weasel ” ? If by that do you mean an Alcoholic ? Yes, once an Alcoholic, always an alcoholic, that is the nature of addiction. It is addictive. If it wasn’t people wouldn’t become addicted to it. What about People who are Addicted to Sugar ? they get FAT, very very fat, thus Obesity, and show’s like the ” Biggest Loser ” what about people Addicted to denigration, people who just have to say mean things about other people just to hurt ? If we point out to Lindsay that we think someone is a LOSER, and can hurt Her, just out of spite, is that a bad thing ? Or is it an attempt to get her to see reason, and alert the losers that they need to straighten up, because they are basically users and abusers, Lindsay has admitted Her addictions, and is trying to get better, what about some of the Kiss and Tell guy’s she has trusted lately, because sleeping with someone means you must trust them at some level, or you wouldn’t be able to sleep with them. What about people who come on a ” Fan Site ” and deliberately leave obviously hatefull notes and trash on web threads way way back behind the current news threads on Our beloved Lindsay, are they Losers ? Maybe even BIGGER loser’s than I am. The real Biggest Loser’s, their ” Fat Baggage ” is their hate that they simply must just leave on this fan site, like a bunch of dirty smelly rat droppings, good for nothing except to spread the disease of hate. That is so sad, don’t you think Dudelookslikeachimp ? I am sure that is what you really meant by that last comment, don’t you ? Of course it wasn’t spelled that way but that is what I got out of it, so thank you for your encouraging comment and educated observations, I hope you continue to post support for our ( your’s and mine ) Favorite Movie Star, and all around woman/person the Incomparable and Lovely Lindsay D Lohan !!!!!

Too bad. I suspect Lindsey Lohan will always be a real juice weasel.
While I seriously doubt the veracity of the ‘news of the world’ story, the statement ‘curled up on his lap and cried like a baby’ IS a TYPICAL — and VERY HEALTHY benchmark in the necessary regression required for emotional healing.
So while it could be pure conjecture based on a stereotypical view of a typical therapeutic process, it could also be true — and that is NOT a bad thing. In fact that could be THE emotionally HEALTHIEST point Lindsay could have reached in a long, long time — DEFINITELY NOT to mistaken for weakness — the strongest, most genuine people always know when it’s time to cry — and there ARE those times.
Lindsay — I pray that in finding a safe place and being able to allow your pain and vulnerability to surface you will find that you have support, care and love to help carry you through. You have carried too much pain for too long on your own — Now is the time to let it out — and let it go. Then you will be free from that horrendous, driving burden — FREE!, Lindsay, and all your strength will go to keeping you free, staying strong, and ENJOYING being the beautiful YOU that He intended for you to be! :-)
Emerge from that dark, confining cocoon of pain, Lindsay, come through, and out — spread your crumpled wings in the sun — and get ready to — S O A R !!! :-)
And REMEMBER, Lindsay — He NEVER intended for you to live your life without His Help — His Love, His Peace, and His Joy — go to Him Lindsay — your Heavenly Father — stay with Him, and NEVER LEAVE!

I agree with all of you, She may not qiut making movies, Just Hollywouldn’t !! You don’t have to live there to work there, A shoot can be a month or two, but doesn’t go much beyond that, so else time is spent elsehwere !! You GO Woman !! Lindsay, ” Don’t let the Haters stop you from doin’ yo’ thang ” ( Mean Girls excerpt. ) Hollywouldn’t is just a fake town with fake crowns, the only thing you get there is Money and Heartache, and the one certainly doesn’t make up for the other. I agree that Lindsay shouldn’t quit movies, she has that certain ‘x factor’ which really sizzles on the big screen. But if she needs to quit Hollywood to get away from the toxic lifestyle that has sent her into rehab 3 times already, then I would fully support that. Perhaps taking a break would be best, she can always return when shes matured and able to take care of herself. Because without that kind of grown-up attitude she might not achieve true success.
Lindsay love’s beying in the movies becouse she is born with this talent…I haven’t seen a better actress than Lindsay ….Lindsay is the best that is and will be…She won’t quit…I don’t understand why there are so many haters…Lindsay…you go girl…don’t let the haters bring you down becouse you’re the best that is and we ‘your fans’ Love you more than enyone on this planet…I Love Lindsay 4 ever and ever…Adicted 4 life to her…Peace

i can’t believe that he would turn to news of the world the INSTANT their reunion was over. Lindsay did NOT run into Michael’s arms and hug him and kiss him. Why the hell would she anyway? And there was obviously tension in the photo showing the two of them.
He is a total weasel and he doesn’t have the right to announce what Lindsay is or isn’t going to do after rehab, even if it is true. That is LINDSAY’S OWN CHOICE. I want to use some very strong swear words right now. Everything about Michael Lohan pisses me off. I wish God would just smite him already!
I really doubt tha Lindsay is going to quite movies. There is some concern about her insurability in light of the events of the past few months. However, she does have to commitments for which (I believe) she is already insured. She has been rumored (reliability uncertain) to have been writing songs while in rehab. So the tabloid is most likely projecting from that. My guess is that if the rahab is successful and exiting projects go off without problems things will work out well for future movie projects.
On the Ortega suit on thing I don’t get is why is the being defended by Lindsay’s attorney? Should her insurance company be defending her? She certainly had enough insurance to handle a $200,000 liability.
i have a couple of other problems with this stupid ‘news of the world’ crap story.
1)if you look at the cirque website,they do not show horses and stables in the virtual tour,nor do they even mention horseback riding as an activity.how can Lindsay be caring for horses if they don’t have any?if they do have horses,how comes there are no shots of her on horseback or tending to the horses,as there are long distance shots of her canoeing,walking dogs,bicycling,reading 12-step books,and a variety of other activities.hmmm…
2)why would the idiot dad give an ‘interview’ with the brit crackheads for chumpchange,when he could get top-dollar for his ‘exclusive’ with people trashmag or other big U.S. trashloids,and why has he said NOTHING to anyone in the new york media upon his return?i’ll tell you why,because this brit crackhead ‘interview’ NEVER took place!!! it does gall me to defend the dad,but he wouldn’t ruin his tenuous progress with his estranged daughter,especially when he is supposed to return shortly for another visit.
3)the brit crackhead story says that Lindsay ‘curled up on his lap and cried like a baby’.PUH-LEEZE,don’t you limeys look at the pics before you write your trash??? Lindsay is far too strong-willed to do that,as you can see her pain and anger in the “Confessions” video,which she directed.in the pics of her initial meeting with the estranged dad,you can plainly see her tension,confusion,anger,and distance.you trashloid mongers have no morals or sense of decency.haters,nothing more.
4)i think i figured out their horse manure angle.first,it was Lindsay cleaning toilets,now its Lindsay cleaning horse stalls.see,its another way of the trashloids putting her down.stupid wankers
5)there is no way that Lindsay is quitting movies as the brit trashloid limey wankers claim.she is a born actress,an artist,an emotional spirit who gets cathartic release from expression,beit movie roles,songs,dancing,modeling,you get my drift.she will be back,bigger than ever,because that is the only way a fighter like her knows how to stick it to the haters,to get back in the game,outlast the smacktalkers,and walk up there on that podium,and accept that golden statuette for another great film character.you go,miss Lohan,i’ll be the first one standing in the standing ovation…love always,a huge fan and friend.peace
here’s a new item:supposedly that idiot dad of hers ran his mouth off to ‘news of the world’(i know,i know)and told them all the PRIVATE details of the reunion,and also told them that she hates hollywood and is quitting movies.now its my turn to say something.
1) its ‘news of the world’,people..a stupid limey knockoff of national enquirer,and they can’t be sued for slander,libel,and false stories as they are brit-limeys,outside U.S. jurisdiction in libel lawsuits.nothing these people ever say is the truth.
2) tony allen,the friend of hers from rehab,is saying in his response to the trashloid stories that she wants to get healthy,focus on her craft,give back to the fans who made her,and stick by her.does that sound like she is leaving movies?i’ll believe a recovering addict like her friend,WHO ACTUALLY KNOWS AND SPEAKS TO LINDSAY,over some brit crackhead trashloid haters.
3)Lindsay is a strong personality who would never quit in the face of adversity,shame,addiction,people talking smack,and all the other garbage swirling around her.she would fight,get back in the saddle,and come out on top.take that,haters.she always portrays strong-willed and intensely alive characters because that is who she is.anyone can fall prey to peer pressure and addictions,but its how you recover and move on that shows your strength and character.i have faith that this hugely talented and beautiful young lady will emerge from the darkness of her struggle,a stronger and more wiser and mature person,and will return to the silver screen.love you,Lindsay.love always,a huge fan and friend.peace

this lawsuit will never make it to trial,as it will either be dismissed on appeal(she gets 90 days to appeal,civil court rule)or settled out of court.in hollywood,there is no such thing as bad press or publicity,except a court trial!!!as for the end of rehab3 date,i would say that she will stay up until the start of production for ‘dare to love me’ which is supposed to start at the end of september,beginning of october.like Arieanna said on another item,Lindsay does not want to give any notice on her departure,as that would create a stalkerazzi poopstorm outside of cirque,and since i believe that Lindsay has a pretty good relationship with the cirque folks,she will do whatever it takes to ensure her eventual departure is low-key and a non-event.nobody saw her check in,so i am sure they have a plan for her leaving.dina is just there for ‘family week’,same as michael earlier.i think Lindsay was driven to utah from the LA detox facility she was in,thats why no one knew where she was.it takes a couple of days to drive from LA to provo,utah,so it was probably a good road trip for Lindsay to get some fresh air and some anonymity,some alone time.i do honestly think that she has turned the corner,realizing that her life,freedom,and career are at stake,and deep down,she knows that she needs help and is getting it.her statement on being addicted to alcohol and drugs is proof of that,and this recent reunion with her estranged dad after years of separation,is all the more convincing that she is on the mend.i wish her all the best with her legal issues and the best of health and happiness.love always,a huge fan and friend.peace
I’m seeing a lot more positivity on the other sites lately, seems her fans are convinced she is really trying to kick these addictions, and are coming back, seeing less negitiveity, still some, but less.GOOD !!! So maybe She will stay a little longer, or maybe she’ll get the go-ahead nod, and do-out patient work, like the movies she has pending, the Producers won’t wait forever you know. She may have to start filming ” Poor Things ” soon, just to keep the film viable, if no filmee no payee for the OTHER stars who are in it.
AND on a not so good note, there is ONE major worry we have not discussed in a while, Lindsay STILL has an Obligation Contractural, to appear at that Las Vegas casino that already paid her a Million Dollars to come for her birthday party, and had to reschedule to a later date, Unless Lindsay pays them the money back and cancels the Contract, which could open her up for ANOTHER very messy law suit, this is an area of real concern.
