Lindsay’s Wild Ride

Nick Cannon, co-host of the Teen Choice Awards, put together a very distasteful gag reel trivializing Lindsay Lohan’s most recent DUI and problems. It’s called "Lindsay’s Wild Ride," and features a "Lindsay" go-kart that crashes. I was quite shocked to see it, as I am sure many of you will be once you watch the clips.

    that’s not funny
if you think that’s funny you’re sick and crude.

sigh — helliworld at its finest!

So true, dave — I believe Lindsay will soon realize what you and I (and a great many others) now know, and that is that you can consider yourself fortunate, blessed, and rich beyond measure if you have as many as an half-dozen TRUE FRIENDS — ever! Yes — finding out that, at the lowest point in your life she is nothing but vestiges of a commodity to be bundled and sold out to an ignorant, heartless market can only be adding to the weight Lindsay already bears. But she needs to learn that NOW. It will be so difficult for her to find true friends — one’s she can trust, who are truly strong enough to support her in the middle of all the turmoil that constantly surrounds her!

HELLiworld IS HARSH — especially in this arena! I can’t imagine many TRUE friendships forming with such a prevalence of “me-first” egos and socio-career politics at work. But in a way, I am glad she is having to face this and deal with it now — rather than later. The sooner she becomes aware of how shallow, manipulative and self-seeking people are, the better. As someone else said somewhere in here, she really is a child in many ways . There must be a lot of unfinished childhood that has never had the chance to quietly grow up. And she seems to have very little hope of finding the loving, trusting support that she needs — that most children find — in parents, to help her to grow through this difficult time. In so many ways — but especially emotionally — she is practically an orphan. Maybe worse — at least orphans don’t have the confusion of having to deal with “parents” who AREN’T parents — at least orphans know they have to move on, and do so, without being dragged back into the abyss of failed parenting psyches. Lindsay has a LOT to deal with — but then, we all do, at various times.

Just remember Lindsay — God never places any of us here to live without His help — and His love. He never intended for you — or any of us — to live our lives alone.

Lindsay — you do NOT have to do this alone — without His help. Just GO to Him! He Loves you, Lindsay, and so do we!

As Always, in His Love, your Affectionate Fan.

If the dedication and loyalty of fans is any indicator of just who is the more popular of the celeb bunch, perhaps it’s safe to presume Ms. Spears wins hands down over Lindsay.

During the past few weeks, the E-BOOST (www.eboost.com) team flew banners targeted at both Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan over the beaches of Southern California stretching from Redondo to Malibu that read:

“HEY BRITNEY, STOP BOOZIN’, START BOOSTIN’ EBOOST.COM”

“HEY LINDSAY, GET BOOSTED NOT BUSTED!”

They both played on the recent troubles the starlets have been getting themselves tangled in. Britney fans went ballistic. EBOOST received a barrage of emails from Britney fans that criticized the company for their Britney banner but surprisingly, none were sent in by Lindsay fans.

Perhaps Britney will be the one to make the stronger comeback. Only time will tell.

I don’t think Nick was trying to be mean, just edgy and out front. But it was hard to watch anyway when we know what Lindsay’s been going through, how hard she is trying and how much we love her for everything she has already given. One thing’s for sure, she will shrug it off.

    That was really mean!

I agree also, friends don’t do this. People all over the world are making fun and profits out of her with her recent problems. She’s the top number 1 topic anywhere. Well, at least she’s number 1, i’m very happy if she’s number 1 celebrity. But not in a bad way like this.

Bowman…how true, friends don’t do things like that.people have to remember that miss Lohan had everything, fame, career, money, reputation, and she threw it all way in helpless slavery to drugs and alcohol,so obviously something is deeply troubled within the pysche of our friend, the incomparable Lindsay Lohan.you don’t kick your friend when he or she is down, way down, you support and try to understand what its like to be in that persons shoes,be there for them when they are ready to face their demons.nick cannon and jay leno are no friends of hers.even if this distasteful crap and lenos skit were meant as tough love, they both crossed that line of heartless ridicule,as this young lady is clearly damaged from her childhood past and hurting immensely from a broken home and her whole personal life put on display by two nutcase parents bent on fame.i wish you well, miss Lindsay, and i will see you on the other side of this darkness.get well, love always,a huge fan and friend.peace

There is really no excuse even if he did it for comic effect. Friends don’t do things like that.

maybe we all just misunderstood this. If you could remember, recently (like a few weeks ago), Nick cannon defended Lidsay Lohan (i saw this on video) saying that Lindsay’s great and focusing on rehab in Utah. blah blah blah…

Maybe Nick just did it for comic effect…But IT FREAKING HURTS!

And this was on the *TEEN* Choice Awards? It is incredibly distasteful and I doubt DUIs and car crashes are appealing to TEENS.

nick cannon was supposedly a friend of Lindsays for the last couple of years, and was supposed to have done a romantic comedy with her, titled ‘blindsided’.nick was to have played a blind person in the romcom, and Lindsays character falls in love with him.i guess this movie was lost in the madness of the recent past and this poser saw no purpose in continued friendship with the highly talented but troubled miss Lohan, just as that skunk leno let that animal, rob schneeder(who cares about his name spelling!!)make fun of her.i am boycotting all leno and cannon media from now on,not necessarily because of these distasteful skits, but because they abandoned their friend in the lowest point of her life.what kind of person are you, when you will kick your ‘friend’ in the head or stomach when they are at a low point in their life??friends are like marriages, the good and the bad, sickness and health, and so on.if i hadn’t had a couple of good friends during my years of insanity, that stuck with me,i might not be here today.i cannot imagine being in Lindsays shoes right now,not knowing who your friends are because of her money and fame, being at the lowest point of your life and career, and having two nutcase parents making a spectacle of your existence for their own ends.i REALLY feel for this young lady and hope that she makes it out of the darkness.all you people out there that judge her, step into her shoes for a moment, and without the slant and bias of the trashloid media.get well,Lindsay, and we,the true fans, will see you on the other side.love always,a huge fan and friend.peace
